Yes you, crazy american in the back, hand waving frantically, YOU ...

True we meander from the core topic every once in awhile, but we always return shortly. I think these little detours are ok, we come back a little bit more invigorated - any subject can get monotonous without a break once in a while. Also, the right to bare arms is a fundamental right we crazy americans hold near and dear to our hearts, you goofy foreigners have your own quirks, like rigidity of maintaining forum focus :) It's all good, if we were carbon copies of each other, I would probably off myself right now. Finally, let's not forget - all of us are here because of one crazy american and his crazy american company kicking out the best damn mech mod in the world! Peace my brothers and sisters, we are family ELA, a little sibling rivalry now and then is a good thing.

Now, let me close on one other item and I'll be done. I do love eBay, $51.50 to my doorstep!

Hehe thank you, this is exactly why I love going to the US, the diversity of people is mind-blowing. I've been there twice and even if you want it or not, I will come back :)

Back to ELA. Most crazy build there is, it makes anything else look like toys. Now it doesn't really hit harder or vape any different than some other hi-ends, but the build is just ridiculous, nothing compares.
AND, almost no maintenance needed for the rhodium contacts , another big plus.

I know this may be the wrong part of the Super T Forum, but if you have a vapemate i'm on the fence to get one for LA traffic lol. How easy are they to use? I'm also wondering if the arm is long enough to clear the 24mm top cap of the ELA with a 15 ml bottle on the arm of the vapemate.
theres more there than meets the eye... which cuts me out lol...
there's some "understanding" needed regarding auto feeding and some scientific physics there... i couldn't get the hang, but that was back when they first came out... so they're either different now ( i doubt it) or I have changed ( i hope so)

I was thinking about polishing my brass accents and clear coating them. I've got Flitz to knock off the tarnish. But does anyone have a recommendation for some sort of lacquer to seal in the freshness, something strong, high gloss, and resistant to scratches?

Oh Rojo dear, I know keeping them shiny is a PITB, but if you clear coat it, it will look nice for a while, but eventually it tarnish under the coating and will peel and its a much bigger pain to get the lacquer off. Antique collectors will tell you , if you want to take the value away from brass , coat it. Just my 2 cents, maybe there are some coatings that are better than others but I would not do it.

In fact , I read a post on the forums, I think is the GP Lux, they coated thier brass MOD and its having problems with it peeling so they stopped it.

Your local body shop should know, something like KBS DiamondFinish ClearCoat, they would also know how to get the finish you want.

Maybe I'll try some shark hide protectant. I've seen other people rave about its use on mods, and their Web site has some impressive claims. I think it's more like a wax than a lacquer.

If you have users of that stuff on mods with good reviews, you're there. Heck, I'm going to check them out with that info. Just might be the ticket for fingerprint prevention on high polished finishes :)

Yeah, I've been on the fence about getting some shark hide protectant. Poly / shellac / varnish is much cheaper. It seems decadent to spend, what, 60 bucks? on polish just for the sake of vanity. I was hoping someone would say, "yeah, I use shellac on all my mods and swear by it" or similar.

Sharkhide is that expensive? WOW. What about cape cod polish? If you check out the GG forum, theres a guy ; Dspin, he is the "polishing god" he is really nice and if you PM him im sure he can give you some really good advise.

Again, this is just a 20 dollar accent ring, its not like its the whole device, go for it:)

You could always just soak the brass parts in Noalox when you're done polishing.... but then I think it'd be messy... and slippery :p

You guys just made me polish my accent ring. Now that I'm all smelly I'm going to have to polish all my brass doohickies.

It's a tough road you hoe there snork, hang in there bud lol.
Did you buy a Kayfun Lite this AM? I took your reply to mean you staved off the urge, but that wink at the end probably means you caved you wimp.
