You better order the
Precise ELA Extended Tube while you still can. Your going to want it....If you cant order extra accent rings (you ordered them in Brass I assume) I would switch them to stainless if I was you....Brass for me is more of an occasional dress set....

Maybe you got lucky.. If the order went through, that would be a massive score!!!

Now having said that, don't expect it by the Sept date you were asking for... I'd say you are looking at end of November'ish if you are lucky..

Ya I would count myself lucky to get mine by the end of November and my orders been in for about 6 weeks. Lol. Never been so ready for winter in my life.

I think i did get lucky...i plan on using mainly 18350 mode, but a bit concerned about no vent holes for possible battery gas leakage...is this a concern for anyone else?
No. You'll see why.
Any force great enough to be of any concern will simply pop the tube right out. It's one big vent.

I think placing an ELA order is like sailing across the ocean in an old clipper ship. You place your order and set sail, the winds are good and you don't even notice you've lost sight of land as you jabber with your new crew mates on HMS ELA. About 2 months in, the wind dies down and you are becalmed. Day in, day out no wind ... days turn into weeks, weeks turn into months ... you drift and drift and drift. Then, you get that shipping notice! It's a fresh wind and the crow's nest announces ahoy matties, land birds off the port deck!! No sight of land but jubilation abound. Then you see action on that shipping notice ... LANDFALL YONDER!!

I just did a trade for an SnP tank 22mm version that I will use on my Roller but I also have a 23mm SnP on the way to use with the ELA.

This is EXACTLY how I feel. I'm kinda at the stage where I've just resigned myself to waiting however long it takes for 16xxx to come up. The feverish excitement and anticipation for the first month after preordering has abated for the moment. I'm keeping myself content and my mind otherwise occupied by making sure I've got the setups for my atties dialed in for when I get the "land ho" notification from David. I'll probably have a couple of shots to celebrate. And then I'll probably have a couple more shots to celebrate landfall ;).

I'm going through the becalmed stretch myself, I look at my Super-T tidbits and rearrange them in different layouts to help pass the time lol. I reckon Cucco's recent up beat enthusiasm with no bird sightings a good indication the mind is gone, God bless her for trying a trifecta with the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria.

So Cali
Now the question...to kick or not to kick...I have other mechanical mods and dont kick at all..when i feel vape production is low or flava drops off I just switch batteries. Seems like alot of folks are using Kicks with there ELA's, is it just for the longer battery life?...or is there an advantage. Im really into the stealth look so I like to keep my mods in short mode.

TIA

You can use the kick to adjust voltage or watts.. I had one before and I never really used it.. It sat at the stock settings and I think I adjusted it once just to play..

I am considering the kick 2 once David stocks it but mainly because it will be a new toy to play with and not because I'd ever really use it..

I imagine I'd use it for a week or two, grow tired of it, and sell it just like I did with the OG Kick..

Like raqball I see it as a toy, and personally question its' true benefits - but that's me. Seems there are two camps on the subject as well. I've decided not to dig into this can-o-worms due to mechs being pulsed drive devices, in a flashlight the merits of regulation are much more obvious. But it would be interesting to hear what an expert has to say about kick (or crown) and make the case when useful to a particular user and given setup.

That is one awesome looking mod! I want one! Love the look with the brass accents! How much is an 18650 version?
Hello jjkanto, it a telescopic device so it takes all size batteries. Unfortunately for now its out of stock. Pre-orders started in December 2012 and had 2 batches. Unless people cancel an order or decide that they ordered a few too many:) you might get lucky and get one on the site. A couple have been seen on the classifieds, but it will be sort of a buyers market. Its not out of production but future sales will not come with all the goodies the special pre-order came with.

Original price was 187.00? hard to remember. Just keep checking in the Super -T site if it lets you put one in the cart its yours.
