HEEEEELLLPPPP!!!!
I've dropped my ela and now the P on the locking button is stuck in place. I managed to unlock it by caaaaarfuly using a pair of pliers and a piece of cloth (no scratches) but I would have to do the same maneuver to lock it again...pleeeeease help...come on, us ELAite have to stick together :)

Thanks

L

I suppose it happened like this: So there you were, at the crest of the Matterhorn, when the Abominable Snow Man attacked. In desperation, you bludgeoned the creature with your Super-T ELA. While falling to its doom, the enraged monster flailed wildly and accidentally knocked it from your grasp. After plunging 15 thousand feet onto a granite escarpment your ELA button got stuck.

Anything else is inconceivable. :)

Basically the sliding part will not slide anymore and I have the bruises on my thumb to prove it...I have a simplicity but that won't work...I'll be doing what you said rojo would say I guess:(

Email David and see what he says.. You might have to mail it back to him for repair though..

Contact Super-T by email, and be prepared to send your ELA in for repair. I had something similar happen to my P+ a couple of months after I got it, dropping it onto asphalt and damaging the lock and the bottom collar.

The button was no longer perfectly round, and could only be inserted with the P slider to the side. I couldn't twist the button to expose the lock, so my P+ was stuck unlocked.

David worked on it for me as warranty service. It just cost me postage there + 5 bucks for return shipping. While it's still blemished, it's at least fully functional now.

That pic exaggerates the damage. In reality, the scars aren't that obvious unless you're looking for them. And as a bonus, now my P+ is easier to lock and unlock than it was when I sent it in. :) This could be a blessing in disguise for you Lou.

It is impossible to gauge the number of ELA orders between order numbers or dates ordered, but the date does provide a little more information as to where shipping is at. Some of the updates in the Status thread do have the order date and the order number.
Unless he listed the actual order numbers that are ELAs and how many were in an order. That might be helpful, maybe.

I know but scratches drive me crazy! Oh wait, I am already crazy. LOL

It's my 3rd Diver and it's mainly going to be used with the Grail so the tube will probably just sit an collect dust anyway but it's bothering me! LOL

Diver #1 in a 22mm SnP tank for use with Roller.

Diver #2 in a 23mm SnP tank for use on my ELA

Diver #3 in Grail for dripping with Roller and ELA!

raqball educate me on the Diver #2 in a 23mm SnP tank for use on my ELA.
Is the Diver the atomizer? Maybe if you posted a pic of the Diver #2 and 23mm SnP tank side by side (or together) I could see what you mean.

I don't have the 23mm SnP tank yet (waiting on mail) and for now I am using one of my 3 Divers in the 22mm SnP

Diver #2 is just my numbering system because I have 3 of them.

The Diver is a RBA that is the same size as a Caromizer. Think of it as a rebuildable Cartomizer

Here is the Diver in my 22mm SnP

The 23mm SnP is almost the same as the 22mm but with different bottom and top tank covers and of course 1mm wider. I think someone posted a photo a few pages back with the 23mm SnP on an ELA and it looks nice!

Edit to add:

Here is the post where wongster showed a photo of the 23mm SnP on the ELA

Disassemble, lay the button across the horn and drive the "P" out with something plastic , clean, (if you dropped it and its got some sort of dent, file it flush) reassemble. I know, I make it sound easier then it is, but it isn't hard. I'll try to do up a quick video here.

David,

I know you and your loyal patrons have had their attention diverted to the Simplicity line as of late... But any indication as to some integration ideas for ELA?

I'm still ready to fork over bails of greenbacks for a DNA20D integrated module AND an integrated RBA (preferably a tank) for the Precise ELA.

Good morning Nach! The project we have on the burner now is an integrated feeder for the Simplicity and ELA. No eta, but as soon as we can :)
