Precise ELA Telescoping Mod by Super-T!

I had a battery get hot in my natural and melt the plastic coating on one end. It was pretty scary but no gasses or anything that dramatic, just a hot pinky and some momentary fretting. The atty had shorted out. I used the battery again, but got worried and tossed it soon after. It was a trustfire BTW, not an AW IMR.

You should never leave batteries (in or out of your mod) in a car in the summer....bad things can happen.

Whew......... I was hoping that a clone could not look as good as that looked. I was grasping at straws trying to find a visible fault.

Your order number was in the title of the buy confirmation email from Super-T, email David if you don't have it and he will email back what it is. Without an order number, no way anyone would know if you are getting close to receiving - I would say you probably are with an early April order.

David, no where can I find what type of stainless steel your tubes & button are made out of, just curious as there are many types to choose from. All Stainless Steel top & bottom caps, button and body for the maximum in durability. (Super-T website)

Bummer, that does pose a problem Maybe someone stateside who ordered in early April can post their status, that's about all you can hope for.

TutsiGarcia I placed an order on April 11th and it is order #15473, hopefully that at least gives you some idea of where you are at....I think he is in the 15300 range now so you're close...and closer than me

I've went away from dates as quite frankly, I wasn't meeting my goals and estimates. I realize order numbers are a bit vague and hard to gauge by, but this may help a bit: Im working on the Start of April orders and I've been averaging about 20 units per week assembled and shipped. We lost an employee here a few weeks ago which doesn't help matters, but its still no excuse and i'm getting them done as fast as I can. Rest assured, You will get your ELA, hand finished and assembled by yours truly , but if the wait is to much to bear, no hard feelings, we'll get you out an immediate refund.

I ordered on March 30th and I should be getting my ELA next week. I'm the last ELA on the last production status update. #15331. There is a good chance you will be in the next wave shipped out.

No sir, not what I'm saying at all. Take that comment in the context of your 1st post with pics and the caption Chinese clone on an American Beauty, and which I misread as Chinese clone of an American Beauty. In that context I can't imagine the Chinese putting together a clone of an ELA that looked that good YIKES! Now I know they haven't so all is right with the world again

I'm going to assume you'll get a shipping notification 1st which means David has your ELA in the queue for hand finishing and assembly. It may be 2 more weeks before you actually see your ELA moving through the postal/shipping system. But yes, you are close and should be happy
