I think it was explained before, The ELA parts were finished months ago. The parts unfortunately are only assembled and hand finihshed and tested by David and only David. The other parts for the other devices were machined after ELA parts were done. THe simplicity , though a great item and very very well made can be assembled and polished and tested by the other more than qualified people in the production house. The ELA being twice the price and having more than twice the pieces is Davids "FLagship" and he is the only one assembleing and finishing etc. He does have people bring in the parts and put them on the assembly table with the orders and he goes thru each and everyone of them at a time, making sure first that all the parts are there according to the order, that all pieces are without a flaw, that they all fit together flawlessly and if there is a problem then he hand turns, or whatever to its precise tolerances. If a part just isnt right then he re turns the piece etc. One ELA can take from a couple hours or more depending on each one individually.
He said fromt the beginning of the introduction of the Simplicity that it was NOT Going to interfere with the ELA production. I can only assume this is true. He knew that people might get upset if they were waiting and other things were being made.
Im sure he will assure you all again.
