I've been sucking on disposable blue autos and will until the ELA arrives. I refuse to drop cash on a temporary PV to carry me over to the ELA but my vaping experience truly SUX at the moment. The upside is that when I get the ELA, no way will I be disappointed - even if I botch up the KFL wick & coil lol. But let me ask this question, once David cuts loose with an ELA rba, what would be a good backup mech for the KFL? Looking for something on par with finish and quality, maybe a top fire mech to change it up? The ELA hybrid would be my primary but need a good home for the KFL once David's rba is out.

Getting picked to beta test is no big deal to me. I get picked or I don't.. As a matter of fact, I don't have a Simplicity 18350 (the requirement) and David previously said Ti owners won't be considered as testers.

Either way I will more than likely buy the Super T RBA.

Plenty of people (me included) have taken the KFL on aircraft and I had zero leaks with the pressure changes. My ears popped the KFL did not.. LOL

I am trying to focus of getting Cucco's issue fixed. The KFL leaking out the air hole is common but the steps to fix it and avoid it from happening again are pretty easy..

i took 2 flights yesterday with KFL, removed just the drip tip both times and flooded like crazy

Another ELA

Once David's RBA is out then the bar will have been substantially raised with RBAs and a new standard for hybrids established. This means the KFL will be demoted to a searsucker class jacket looking for a matching pair of searsucker slacks. The ELA hybrid will be black-tie Pierre Cardin all the way :)

I finally got my umbrella ela ela ela......... gorgeous mod, absolutely beautiful... it even put my 2 month old brass King Mod inside my drawer... just have one issue.... is there any way I can make the firing button stop rotating????

Congrats Tutsi, see - the wait wasn't that bad now was it lol. The firing button rotates by design so not much you can do about it. I assume you're referring to the "characteristic" that the locking slide needs to be lined up to work.
