I would snatch up an ELA in any finish, you could always have it satinized by refinishing services theres one thats great and for a great price. PM me if you want the info. To secure perfect match get a Strata in the polished finish and send both items so they will match perfectly. Maybe David will ring in and give a more precise answer to whether or not he will offer ELA in the Super-t Satin so you can purchase with confidence.
Wow, didn't realize David came out with the ELA Strata. Just checked it out on his site, great quality and workmanship as expected. Does he have a pic of one set up with coil(s)? So it's a dripper with a max. capacity of 1.5ml, how does that work - tilt the rda up to get juice to the coil(s)? I don't know squat about RDA's lol. I also thought he was working on a wick (silica) or mesh fueled RBA, was that never in the works or something along those lines coming later?

Do it, ragna. I had the same doubts about 2 hours ago, then I went to check my family tree to make sure that I didn't have any Egyptian blood. Well..., I don't. So no afterlife gifts for me, only what I can get out of this ONE life. I blame my Portuguese, and Italian blood for all this spending.

Well I just lost ELA#3 to my dad lol. He got me a satin strata, and will most likely repay the rest in fun at the skeet range so I couldn't say no.
Very true he just picked me up a Kick tube for my ELA so I can't complain .He is an avid gun collector so I thought it fitting to get him his ELA's. I love disassembling and cleaning my ELA because it reminds me of a high quality firearm.plus I never thought he would quit stinkies after 45 years .
worst place for me to look. I saw 1 guy selling two of them over the last month, each listed for $489 + shipping. the one sold to Hawaii, & not sure about the other, but thread was locked in less than 36hrs., so I assume sold. I also saw accent rings for $120obo, ridiculous!
I can't stand flippers like that; it hurts someone like myself from acquiring because someone else was able to 'add to cart' before I was with the pure intentions of profitting without any invested work instead of someone passionate over the device who would keep forever & actually has respect for Dave.
not knowing if/ when I will be able to get a satin media blasted finish is only frustrating me more & I'm struggling to not just walk away from future ownership. it also stalls my purchase of the Strata, which I want to pay for/ get on the list already.
I know all of SuperT is busy with those that have already paid for devices/ gear; & I know he certainly doesn't need my money, but we're talkin' about $300+ that I would like to contribute towards their endeavors. not trying to rant or complain, just lost as to what I should do.
it'll really suck if I just stick with all of my wonderful GP purchases & go on vaping well into the future from my trusty Chi-You, when I could be keeping an ELA all nice & cozy with a matching Strata for when I wanna treat myself to something special.
waiting a year is fine, makes no difference to me. I would just want to know it'll be something in my hand @ some point. I'd be fine with buying the Strata now, admiring it whenever it came in, & wrapping it up in a drawer to be resurrected into the future.
you've always been great to me & I've told ya that yourself alongside Nach were the 2 most influencial owners of this device just from your guys posts in this thread alone. thank you again for previously taking your time & having answered about 30 questions in regards to this MOD. you have only made me want one even more than I already did.

It's like that, Demon. Dave and Kevin prep the boxes first, scan the USPS barcode and then Dave assembles the ELAs and package them.
My ELAs were the same way. Just wait a tiny little longer. Good to see you again, bro.

Once i recieved my electronic notification,it shipped either seven or eight days later.
lol I KNOW. i was being dumb cuz i got my notice and i remember that everyone kept posting that complaining about it taking a week or two to actually ship.
Trust me I thought about it in the back of my head lol, but it's my dad at the end of the day. Plus now I don't have to get him a Christmas gift lol.
