I'm in for a polished Strata, a shiny beacon atop my satin ELA. aura.gif

Though I admit, I've only got my foot in the door. I really want to see how this works before I'll feel comfortable.

For you "beta-tistas" out there, I'm particularly interested in set-ups that work well with cotton + 100% VG - which is all I use.

To be honest, you have no need to worry, and I can almost guarantee that you'll love it. I have a dripper with a similar post & drip well design, and it is my favorite rda by a mile. I'll withhold the name of the RDA since it would seem inappropriate to do so. The areas of design on the Strata that I feel will improve performance compared to my favorite RDA are the reduced chamber and airflow design. The bonus feature is that there is no need to worry about juice leaking when laid on its side. While none of us have been able to physically test the Strata yet, I don't see how these innovative improvements can result in anything but a stellar RDA!!!

I bought a satin one. A full satin ELA/Strata will be something to behold! I did *not* buy one for my shiny ELA.

I did the same thing, previously went through the same dilemma with the ELA and ultimately ended up both a Satin and a Polished one, my vape budget won't allow the same with the Strata....famous last words!! Snork, I agree, I think the Satin Strata on the Satin ELA will be awesome...

I ordered two already.

I'm wanting to order a 2nd strata in satin, but not knowing if there's ever going to be another offering of satin ELA's has got me a bit hesitant. Definitely not counting on the chance of being able to score a satin ELA from the classies. Very pricey indeed.

worst place for me to look. I saw 1 guy selling two of them over the last month, each listed for $489 + shipping. the one sold to Hawaii, & not sure about the other, but thread was locked in less than 36hrs., so I assume sold. I also saw accent rings for $120obo, ridiculous!

What classified are you looking at? I keep an eye on the ECF daily and have seen one for sale, only for trade. I'm hoping to get a satin one since I have 3 in polished coming. Not everyone on the classifieds is a flipper. You can usually find a good deal when you look long enough. I picked up a P+ recently in awesome shape. The ELA's won't be a "premium" in vapers minds very long. As cool as it is, vaper collectors as a whole have the attention span of kids with severe ADHD. Between now and spring, I'm sure you'll be able to find one.

I was also a non- dripper for a long time. I just didnt see the point. Take a few spitty puffs and add more liquid, I thought whats the point.

Till I finally got the little Fatty and it was the first time I said, I see what it is to drip. It allows quite a few really nice large full puff of great taste. It also holds enough that Im not constantly dripping. All I can say, when you get a good one, you finally "get it"

THe Stratas advanced design and construction with the capacity of 1.5 mls and being able to take it with you , lay it on its side without the usual dribbles, sounds like a winner. I just really really hope that when David brings out a tank for it, that it will be an add on, not a whole different "beast"

I love tank atomizers for the convenience of long time vaping, and at least with those like Odysseus and Kayfuns no leaks and relatively easy set up.

BTW. I am proudly making clouds with a Kayfun lite. I finally got the opportunity to have one. I kept seeing all of you with them beautifully topping your ELAs and a certain wonderful Super-T fangirls insistence, I am glad I got to experience it.

Have to say I'm like you use to be with dripping. I've always been plug 'n play and think adding juice for every vape session would be a pain. For the connoisseur vaper I can certainly see the advantages, and going through the fill routine might become habit forming. Sort of like a master chef sharpening knives before each meal's slicing and dicing. Me, I'll drink instant coffee over brewed Starbucks 'cause waiting for the percolation cycle doesn't cut it for me lol.

As far as appearance goes, the KF 3.1 or KFL are just hard to beat - looks very clean on the ELA. Can't wait to see what the Strata looks like on one.

I use to drip, drip, drip.. Heck back in the day that was all we really could do.. LOL

I have gotten away from dripping for the most part mainly because of the need to constantly have a juice source with you..

The Strata holds about 1.5ml of juice so that is a massive plus in my book..

I love the flavor I get from dripping but hated the need to carry a juice bottle everywhere. The Strata appears to have solved this issue.
