Although, I've never been a fan of lists. For some reason I suck at them . This time I am determined to get what I signed up for. You'd think we all would be good list peoples. Well, we all are except me. I'm good at getting my name on a list but, my average for getting what I signed up for is far below -below average.

I envisioned David's ELA flat button to resemble the bottom of the Shockwave, with the stylized T that would twist to lock. I'm sure whatever he has in mind will be a worthwhile upgrade in any case though. Since the button will be recessed, and since the stock button is the same for polished and matte ELAs, I doubt we'll get a choice of finish. I wonder whether it'd be possible, instead of offering polished or matte, to offer stainless or brass? If so, I'd be in for brass. Just throwing that out there.

Ive been enjoying my second ELA so much. THey just fire so perfectly. I was expecting to feel a difference between the new one and my original one that Ive been using non-stop since June? They both fire a smoothly and perfectly. Only difference I found was the top cap accent cover on the satin doesn't accept my polished one and that the adjustable center pin on the new ELA is a bit hard to turn for me. No problems that a tiny bit of Vaseline cant help.

Ive been running the polished one in 18650 mode with the 2 polished to rings, really nice. I really dont mind the space but its more comfortable in my hand and comforting on the eye. Maybe if its possible, and I think others would also like it if David can make a double width top accent for those that use it in 18650 and a longer one for 18650 kicked. It just gives the whole unit a nice streamlined look.

I think this device lends itself to many customization's which will keep its owners many choices. With the new addition of an actual Super T option in bottom buttons, it should now be even more perfect. Im going to stick with the original button, maybe in the future? ,maybe.....

For what it's worth, the Satburn button fires exactly like the original, as it use the original spring and original SuperT rhodium-plated contact.

I can't imagine an original flat one would be much different in feel

Thats good to know, It would be bad if the add on button would diminish the feel of the original button. Im sure whatever David makes for us will be just as nice as the original. Its nice for the people that are hesitant to stand the ELA up to have the choice. If it gives people that peace of mind, than more power to them. It just really cool of David to make it so......
