Small world! :) It's small, but certainly beautiful here!

So tell me what is your take on them vs the standard ELA button.....are they that much more stable when standing on end?

100 times more stable ---> YES!

I like the Satburn button a lot.. Yesterday I changed back to the stock ELA button for comparison sake and find that I actually like the stock button more than I thought I did..

My only real issue with the stock button is the lock / unlock of it. I never stand my mods upright so that was never a concern for me..

What I'd absolutely love is a Simplicity type flat button with a similar locking ring or maybe even something like the GP Paps button and locking.. That would be my ultimate ELA flat button..

The Satburn button is sweet and it's well made ----> The dude ROCKS..

I am interested in seeing what Super T has up it's sleeve but it sounds like it will retain the stock ELA button and locking / unlocking functions.. I actually could deal with the way it locks / unlocks if it didn't require me to look at it every time and make sure it's properly aligned..

Stability....I like the sound of that! The SuperT locking button is Super slick IMO, the drawback of course is that you have to align it to lock it.....

Flat bottom cap ordered! I love that it uses the stock lock button. Honestly I didn't like the look of the other flat button, it looked like someone chopped the bottom off the ELA. It's gonna look SWEET with my brass Precise button! Wonder which will come in first, this or my Strata. One thing's for sure, it's gonna be one HECK of a device once it's fully complete! I just hope the DW doesn't off me once she sees yet another charge to Super-T on the bank statement, lol!

The locking mechanism is pure genius in my opinion..

Maybe David can come up with a way to keep it in place / aligned. 8 times out of 10 when I want to lock it, I'm not in a position to safely look at it to make sure it's properly aligned.

You have a lot better luck than me.
I'm about 1 out of 15-20.
But then I'm usually trying to lock it while I'm with a customer. ;)

And an update in yesterday's disaster. I finally figured out it's the tension of the spring plunger that makes it difficult for me.
Got up this morning and had a firm talk with my hands. Made them lock and unlock. Over and over.
Now after a few hours I do believe I have a new bed partner.
(Just don't tell my sweetie.) LOL.

Just ordered my flat-bottom button. How's that for confidence in Super-T Manufacturing, sight unseen ... just do it!

It's kind of a catch 22...I can't run them until the current strata caps are done running and I can't run them without knowing how many to run! Friday is my goal to start shipping them on, i'll get up a pic too as soon as the first roll off the press.

There are good catch 22's and bad catch 22's - this is a good catch 22 for you :)
When possible a pic would be nice, one never knows what you will come up with ...
... only that whatever it is - it will exceed expectations :headbang:
