Please try if you can, maybe there is something wrong with my post or my caps. Or maybe there is just something wrong with me :D

Vaptamist.... Not..... Not until you are successful. :)

Where is everybody? Nobody is chiming in. Hello? Hello? Is anybody in there? :)

Oops! Guess my screen didn't refresh. We got David chiming in. Cool! BTW David: Thanks for the extra o-rings! And, the caps are beautiful! :)

Just got my ela today! Now, I love my hcigar nemesis, hcigar chi you, and smoktech magneto but honestly I could not stop holding the ela and just staring at it. I think I looked at it more than I vaped on it. What a beautiful pv David! Only tried it on my kayfun lite so far and it's awesome. Thanks!:)

Congrats! Happy for you! :)

The oring is a replacement for the adjustable post one, figured peoples might be a bit worn. I just re-measured all the specs, they are identical to your adjustable draw ones, so I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working. Is there something maybe just down in there or on the adjustable post not allowing it to screw in all the way?

Not that I can see. I tried my adjustable post on both the satin and polished solid caps I received and it does the same thing on both - screws in until just past the threading on the adjustable post and then it won't go any further.

If I just push the post in until it catches on the threads, I get maybe about just under one full rotation as I try to screw it in and it just stops. I can get about 2 1/2 rotations on my stock cap.

Pics, sorry for the blur. Lighting is bad in my room.

vaptamist - Been using my new top cap for a few days now. No problems here. Just unscrewed the adjustable post from the original top cap, and screwed it into the new one.

Thanks! That actually makes me feel better knowing that other people's are working OK. I think maybe the issue is my adjustable post is out of spec, or that I've just damaged my adjustable post's threading over time.

That's strange. Maybe try the adjustable post without the o-ring, just to make sure thats not causing any resistance. Also with the o-ring removed, you might be able to work the threads in and out, in case there is a burr or something? It does sound like there might be something up with the post though, since it's stopping at the same spot on both new caps. Hope you can get it resolved.

I was wondering are you having trouble with trying to put the new top on a satin unit? When I got my satin ELA I noticed that there were less threads on the top cap then on the polished. I can use the polished accent top cap cover on the satin, but I cant put the satin top cap cover on the polished. I compared the threads on both and saw that there are less threads on the satin.

I think snork also noticed something similar on his satin vs polished ELA.
