Not that I can see. I tried my adjustable post on both the satin and polished solid caps I received and it does the same thing on both - screws in until just past the threading on the adjustable post and then it won't go any further.

If I just push the post in until it catches on the threads, I get maybe about just under one full rotation as I try to screw it in and it just stops. I can get about 2 1/2 rotations on my stock cap.

Pics, sorry for the blur. Lighting is bad in my room.

Yeah, you must just have a burr, but luckily, we machined flats into your adjustable post for a wrench (as I recall, 11mm), put a little petroleum based lube on the threads and with a 11mm wrench on the adjustable post, you should be able to work it back and forth until smooth. If not, let me know!

I think that sounds very odd, IF he never got one, I would think that after waiting such a long time and paid what we did, he would have noticed and said something to David. I hope David can help you out. Maybe contact him at the mail he gives on the thread for contacting super t on the stickies.

Yea tell me about it, he said he got an extension tube for the kick, but no accent ring.. so idk what's up with that. Did the extension tube come with it, or is that after market?

Standard ELA units came with the accent rings in finish of choice, and standard shorter extension or tele tube. It came with 2 top caps. That is what was supposed to go out with each unit purchased.

The longer tele tube or extension for use with a kick was a separate purchase as were extra accent rings for those that wanted brass or contrasting finishes.

Ok, well I got everything but the top accent ring. He wanted extra for the extension tube, but kicks aren't my thing. Thanks for the help as usual! I'll test my luck with emailing Super T

This is the best email supertmanufacturing@yahoo.com. If you want you can post on the thread : SUper t contact information so he knows to look for it. Hes pretty good at getting back, usually within a day, but sometimes depending on the weekend, a couple days.

Ok so should I just post that I sent him an email on that topic?

When the solid top caps came out, I thought I'd pass on picking one up. I figured my ELA's fine without needing one of those. Fast forward to today and I've ordered two; one for my existing ELA and one for my yet-to-arrive second ELA.

What is it about Super-T?!

E Z answer "QUALITY" :)
