Precise ELA Telescoping Mod by Super-T!

ELA #1, has not yet had a bath. She hits as good, as the day I got her. ELA #2, was only vaped a few weeks, and I sense a voltage drop. No, snork, I did not test her yet. But, I will. Due to the performance issue, I have gone back to ELA #1. This weekend, I hope to test ELA #2. Then, if there is truly an issue, I will try giving her a bath. Once I make sure she is fit, I will give poor ELA #1 a bath.

Maybe, ELA #2, needs me to put on my FM spikes?

Do you have a vmeter? or a 510 voltage meter?
As a friend with the nice devices you have please invest in a ultrasonic cleaner. They are worth their small weight. In proportion to your investment $100-200 is relatively small. They save time and devices from the stank! You would be alarmed at the change in color of your chosen cleaner.
Remember current runs through the entire mod and threads are very important to clean as there is much loss from threads.

I get 'hot button' if I do .5ish ohms. I am good, if I do .6ish ohms.

I will never pass judgement on ohms but, the lowest I build now is .08 on the Origen dripper due to the dual coils and I love flavor more so than vapor. I suspect the Strata I will build much the same.
Funny, I have seen many run lower than .05 on cheaper devices with no issue. hmmm.

Just a warning, remember that you should not put metals that are plated in an ultrasonic cleaner, it will take the plating off. Just dont put the the rhodium parts in. Screw the bottom contact off and dont put the center pin in .

2/14 = Delivered. It was the SS 18500, I purchased for my Personal Assistant. Hoping I can get him to start vaping again.

I like hearing everybody's thoughts and ideas. That's what this place is for. If you had known me, when I started here.......

Let's just say, I have come a long way. There is a group here, that had to deal with the newbie idiot I was. Thank goodness for all their thoughts, ideas, and patience!

Nice huh? I loathe the word newb, noob(funny cuz I love the word boob in any context), newbie or any form of. I don't let anyone use it over there. It puts people in different classes. Pet peeve - I don't cares for elitists.

Hmm. I never thought of 'newbie/etc' as a class thing. The people, on the Super-T threads, never do that to people. O.K. guys, yes, I know, there was one who did! But, we won't go there!

I am still a 'newbie', considering the 'expertise' we have hanging around these parts.

I kinda like the way that sounds.

But, we all are learning. Every day people should reflect on the day no matter what was done, right or wrong and have at least one takeaway. Meaning, what you will take with you to help in the future.
That newb crap has got to end. The word/connotation is just negative to your spirit imo.

Actually, it has been kind of fun being the 'that word'. I spent a long time, being the 'go to', the 'fixer', the 'person with the answers'. Here, I got to be the 'new kid'. The 'student'. It's like being, young again. I am a resourceful older woman. I jump on a 'fantasy', any chance I get.
