The question is - Will this delay the ETA (not that there is one) and if so by how much? I certainly feel for you mate, having to wait this long is not really fair and a more accurate waiting time should have been stated to begin with. I think this extended delay should impose another question - what can one do to make up for this delay? What can i give my customers to reignite their enthusiasm and trust? The answer i feel quite suited to this question would be - More frequent updates and certainly more photos and videos. Just my thoughts.

I agree. I guess David doesn't want to post pics of the unfinished product, but I don't see the problem with that. I'd been drooling over the picture of the Shockwave top cap for months. Maybe he doesn't have a quality camera around. Maybe he's got too much worry dealing with the broken piece of machinery. I don't know. I know I won't be getting my Shockwave before my ELA is done since I asked them to be sent together and the wait is LOOOOOOOOOOOOONG. The thought of asking for a refund never even occured to me. A guy wanted to buy the Shockwave I hadn't even received for 500$ and I didn't think it over not even for a second. I think I may have developed a crush on Super-T because no problems, setbacks or the like can instill any doubt in my mind regarding my orders or the quality I am expecting out of these devices once they're finally in my hand. But yes, a picture would be nice

I'm guessing it has more to do with patenting than anything.

We have doubles and triples and more of most all cutting inserts, end mills, taps, carbide drill bits etc, but an insert drill is a specific tool holder that takes replaceable cutting inserts, its not an item that normally breaks, you just replace the cutting inserts when they wear out, of which we have six spare sets. It breaking will not add additional delay, we just switched to a different part in the mean time.

Thinking that may be the time he gets his drill. I doubt it! Hmm, wonder if he will be doing anymore videos without coolant again?

Okay I will go to my corner.

The videos done without coolant were of Brass, a soft, readibly machineable material that can be machined without coolant.

Precise ELA Hybrid Adjustable Center Post:

• We wanted to take the ultra-reliable, no leak design of Super-T’s press-in Rhodium over Gold plated center post and make it adjustable. Our innovative Hybrid design does just that!
• Our Hybrid design is unique in that, unlike full-floating/self-adjusting designs, no matter how tight you compress down the sections and center post onto the battery, none of that force will transfer up through the center post to your atomizer which can cause atomizer shorts.
• Atomizer positively seats on the top cap with no play or wobble and the user can adjust the post height and force applied to the atomizer center pin. No more shorting atomizers!

Note the attention to detail with machined in flats that accept a 7/16 or 11mm wrench. Normally, you'll be able to just adjust it with your fingers, but, should it get stuck, it beats the heck out of taking a pliers to your precious mod!

I think everyone, myself included needs to sit back take on a new hobby ( I know, this is your hobby) and try not to get overly anxious. I think David has more than been on top of things with updates, photos etc. Like someone mentioned, patents etc, might be a reason for not showing too much. As it is there is a new mod out there that already has taken its looks from the ELA, but only in looks.

Super-T manufacturing has been around for a long, lont time and offers some of the best there is, and the best warranty also. I know its hard to spend the money and wait, but we knew that when we got into this. I know some look at the original statement of " 6 weeks" but if you have been in this game for a while we all know that those are approximate estimations. Innovation and quality take time. Adding that they just bought that giant machine and are doing all the machining in-house is another factor in delays. These are small number "humans" making these, not a giant assembly line knocking out devices.

SO again, if you cant wait, David has mentioned many times that he is will to refund, this is also being offered at an introductory price and though we have the inconvenience of waiting we are saving money. So take a deep breath, vent if you have to , like I said, take up a new obsession to help the time pass. Real soon we will have them in our hands and all this anxiety will be just a memory.

We are here to share in our "misery" and have fun while we wait.

Awesome looking hybrid post! Jeez I can't wait for this thing! I just managed to pick up literally the last Gold AMP tank kit, which is going to look bad ... on the Polished ELA with Brass accents I just know it. When I say the last gold amp tank kit I mean i bought it.. went right back to it for s***s and giggles.. clicked on it and it was out of stock.. lol However they do still have Gold 3ml non kit AMP tank(s?) available.. so.. there's that.

Edit: Heck, I might put the brass accents on the satin ELA and try that out with the AMP tank... I bet the finishes would match decently well.

Are you talking about the Noble 1? Cause that really quirks me that Mac and them designed it like that. People say "Oh flashlights had buttons like that way before super T made them" But come on... That's like someone ripping off the Tesla from iVape and saying "Oh condoms had ribbing long before the tesla did" Apples and oranges people. Not to mention the button isn't the only similarity in the looks department by far.

I just pre-ordered a satin finish ELA with brass accents on Monday. I feel for you guys that have been waiting for months, since already i'm anxious to get mine. These things look well worth the wait though, and I give you permission to flaunt and wave yours around in my face once you get them since i'm pretty far down on the pre-order list.
