Well for ELA you can get the 3 most popular sizes plus, 18650 long mode, 1849 /500 mid, and stealth mode 18350.

from the super-t site specs:
Precise ELA Body Engineering:

• Instantly collapsing and expanding, non-threaded telescopic tube design with positive locking mechanism. A Super-T first that makes for lightening fast battery and configuration changes from battery sizes 16340 to 18650! Stainless Steel construction.
• Positive locking mechanism will not loosen or back off
• Super Ts solid tube locking mechanism eliminates ALL wobble and looseness between the sections
• Super-T's telescoping design eliminates the need to crank down threaded sections tightly onto a battery in an attempt to eliminate wobble, make a better electrical connection or prevent the tube from backing off. Set it and forget it!
• Two section non-threaded design eliminates an extra set of electrical junctions. Fewer electrical junctions = less electrical resistance and more power to the atomize and more consistent atomizer firing!
• Works with the Kick by Evolv with IMR 18350 or IMR 18500 Batteries
• Optional longer sleeve for using the Kick with an IMR 18650 Battery

the Reds are the IMRs those are what you want if you want to use low resistance set ups. If you want you can use the black protected ones. I think that the label protected or unprotected is a bit misleading, as both are made for safety and the red IMRs are safe chemistry also. If you use a kick or crown you HAVE TO USE IMR ONLY.

my Favorite set up, "visually" is the 18350, just looks so pretty, but my favorite is the mid mode 18490/500 with the accent ring and a crown. But heck it is beautiful in every mode.

That's what confuses me, there's only 18500 available in protected, the black batteries, does that matter? Or there's 18490 in the red style.

18490 and 18500 are essentially the same thing. I think the different numbering probably originated from the fact that the IMR version was slightly shorter and my not work in all devices (not thinking e-cig here, just general battery applications like flashlights, etc), so a different moniker was applied to help differentiate the slight difference in size. Generally in the e-cig world, that slight length difference is not an issue as the battery spring in most mods will compensate for it just fine

I could be wrong on that, but basically my point is that 18500 and 18490 are the same size for our intents and purposes :)

Super-t recommends AWIMR's for a couple reasons; one being that they are a standard of performance and safety.
I believe there are others that are as good (not a lot) but it goes without saying - if you know about the science of it.
2- Hi drain IMR type is doable for full range of applications... for super low to high resistance, but imperative for low resistance.

I don't like 18350's because 95% of the time I use super low resistance and low resistance... they discharge too fast.

oh... yeah 18490 refers to the size; i think its 49mm tall... vs 50mm and 18mm OD.

I hate to be the odd man out but i use Efest 18650 kicked(sometimes)the other times SLR .6

not at all... like i mentioned, similar or acceptable batts..."...not a lot" actually there are alternatives that fit within superT's criteria... basically a decent brand of batt that is IMR or similar to the IMR... if you know the criteria, I don't, but i know there are some terms i recognize: "hi drain" ... "safe chemistry"... a certain amp load capability and more.
I wouldn't turn my nose up at an Efest batt... there's some newer and not so new batts that member bishopeals for one, documents in his threads.

Sorry if this has been answered but I didn't see it in the pages I scrolled through and I didn't see it on the Super T website but I have a few questions. I was able to add the ELA to my cart on the Super T's website, does that mean its still for sale? If so what is the estimated wait? I understand their are unforeseen events that may delay productions, but what can I expect roughly if I ordered this today? I thought I read somewhere that only a few hundred were being made?
