I cancelled my ELA because telescopics are no longer my thing. Needing moola and / or the wait had nothing to do with my choice.

I had been searching and searching for a Titanium mod for a while.. All I could find was mods with writing and logos all over the tube. And I mean like laughable writing and logos. Some of these mod makers destroy what could be a great looking mod with all that crap they pile onto the tube..

In the end, I am still doubting my decision to cancel the ELA. Not because I think I'd like a telescopic, but because it's an ELA and made by the man himself..

Why not still get it, it's not like you couldn't recoup the investment if you don't like it (probably make some $$), just sayin'.

I hope I didn't add any negativity to this thread :(. I'll wait happily for 2 years for my ELA. To me its a game changer and that's why I preordered. I'm not a fan of one mod maker over another, don't collect mods and could care less about serial numbers and all that jazz.

I simply wanted a 4 things in a mod to put my Ithaka on, SS telescoping mechanical, locking bottom button, best battery contacts in a mod, and the ability to change batteries very quickly. The ELA does this and much more and I can't freaking wait to get it. After vaping this long, all I care about is will it last forever, is it easy to use/clean and does it have a good warranty. Last time I checked the ELA is the only mod on the market that has all that.

I think to many people over look how well priced this mod is considering it comes with a lifetime warranty. I dropped way more on a different popular variable-mod and when the electronics fried after a year I was stuck shelling out the 85 to repair it.

I am with you on that as I am not a collector either...When I pick my mods its all about performance levels/fit and finish.... I have bought and sold a bunch of mods over the last few years.......I am down to a couple of my favorites... One of course one is a Provari, I will always have one in my vaping stable..the other one is a SuperT ELA-which is hands down my favorite mod ever-very Kick2 friendly.... I love the ELA so much that I ordered a second one which is rare for me, but if something ever happened to my ELA I would be lost....;)
The price $ of the ELA was a steal in my book:2c:

This is true for me as well. I've basically sold off everything except 2 mods, a Zen listed on the classies and a KeFf hybrid, which I will sell when my ELA arrives. I've realized I'm not a collector, just someone who wants something built to last a lifetime, making changin batteries a breeze and is as easy to take of as my P+18500 was. And it was a bargain to boot. That's why I don't mind waiting for them to show up.

Same with me without the inventory. Will vape disposables until the ELA arrives, then use that until I croak - with any luck the ELA will be an aged classic or antique at that time :)
