Anyone know how to access PMs using a smartphone? I'm on vacation and only have my Galaxy S4 with Tapatalk to try and pull those up.

Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using Tapatalk 2

if u have the latest tapa talk version, top left side hit the avatar button, it should slide a menu bar on the left side. scroll down to "messages"

Did you try pullling it up in the regular browser? That should work, but slowly

Turns out there is a PM button at the top when Tapatalk loads the Super-T webpage on e-Cig forum lol. About as easy as it gets and I'm a dufus for not seeing it until just now.

When I do micros I use the cotton off of one side of a qtip. It's the perfect amount for a kayfun. I'm not sure it's the best source.

Never thought of that. I would not have thought that was enough. I will have to look at a q-tip. I am using sterilized cotton balls.

I wouldnt have thought it was enough either, but I didn't have cotton balls the day I decided to try it. qtip (1 of 1).jpg

I also use sterile cotton balls from CVS... $3 for years worth of wicks is hard to beat. I change out the cotton every 7-10 days, doing a dry burn in between to clean crud off the coil. coils on the other hand can last for much longer. I think I ran my last coil for about 6 weeks and only changed it because I wanted to start fresh with my ELA. And as mentioned, it doesn't take much cotton -- just enough to feel a tiny bit of resistance when pulling it through.

The KFL and ELA seem like a perfect match to me -- the finish, style, quality, etc. I do have a couple small quibbles with the ELA though. And I do mean small... barely worth mentioning really but my OCD won't allow it hahaha.

First, I would like the upper accent ring to be 1/4 a mm or so longer. I'm using an AW 18490 battery but there is still a tiny gap there. I've lessened it by adjusting the center post and distributing the gap evenly between the KFL and accent ring. Technically, making the knurled ring longer or adjustable center post shorter would also do the trick, I think. This isn't a huge deal, just something that catches my eye every couple days.

Second, an improved version of the previously discussed locking mechanism would be awesome. It actually works pretty well in it's current state but is not very user-friendly when you can't see the button (e.g., watching TV at night or driving a car). There were some good suggestions earlier in the thread, but I especially like the idea of a small indentation on the button that would allow you to feel when it's lined up. It's simple, requires minimal modification, and would serve a similar purpose to the ridges on your keyboard's home row keys. Regardless of how it's changed, accidental locking is preferred to accidental firing, IMHO.

Hopefully David can address these in the future because I'd be more than happy to buy improved parts. Other than those 2 microscopic issues, I love my ELA. Definitely worth the price and wait.

LOL, OOOOPs........Yes, accidental firing, or locking, which is worse?

I think you also mentioned something that I have always thought would be a great incentive for people. There are so many mod makers that bring out " must haves, the BEST, the greatest..." pay us 200.00. Then in a few months, look, it still is the best , but look now its the 2.0, then 2.4, 3.0 etc. Each time improvements that dont warrant having to buy a whole new device. Why not come out with "upgrades"?

Like if there is a new button, why not just produce a new button and sell it separately so those who need it can get it. If and when its needed sell the item as is or with the options.

What I always liked about Super-T is they had a design that was ahead of its time, they didnt "join in the Trends" for the sake of it. All the designs and features are down to earth, well executed, simple. Even their Shockwave, they added electronics, but still they said we want it to be able to be fixed in the future. WHy make the body of the device so well made and then when and if the electronics go bad, you are left with a lovely "hull" and it can be done by us! Yes its the PC of regulated devices. They let you actually open it and replace parts.

They also have kept the "look" true to the original design, little changes here , but its still recognizably " Super-T" Even ELA still looks like the Precise Plus, elegant and rugged.

Okay, I think I need to stop or someone might accuse me of being a "fanboy/girl" time to shut it.

A person really doesn't have to be a fanboy/girl to recognize what Super-T brings to the table. And if you are a fanboy/girl this is the best place to be one, for sure. :)
The few vapers I know in real life tell me I know good stuff. That makes me feel good; they don't care about my fanboyism. When they see my pile of vape things they know I've done a lot of the dirty work for them, that's all.

Everywhere I go, my ELA gets attention.

Most women, particularly of my vintage, are unable to appreciate what it is. They also don't appreciate my H1 Hummer's, Harley, and guns. But, I can't appreciate most of the things that excite them, so that's cool.

Men, on the other hand, absolutely fall in love with it. They want it. They offer me cash. I tell them to check out the website. No, I do not have a price!
