My thoughts exactly, appearance wise I don't think you gain anything, you just get a weight savings and bragging rights that it's a Ti
I think anavidfan's $600 price point would be about right, there are other toys I would be getting before a Ti ELA - remember, the man/woman who dies with the most toys wins ... that is the mission!

just curious, when in 18650 mode, noticed that half of the inner tube is exposed even with the accent ring..does using another accent ring covers it?

I haven't measured, but I'm thinking the upper bling ring is 14mm. It's perfect for an aw 18490, but a kicked 18350 leaves a little of the extension tube exposed. If that's true, then 2 bling rings wouldn't quite cover an 18650.

No, 2 rings don't fully cover it. 18490 IMHO is the best looking size for the ELA

I believe david answered this a while back.With the 18650 kicked extension tube,and 2 of the bling rings,it will cover the gap.I can not try this to see if it is correct because i did not opt for a second set of rings.

Thanks theECB, pic is waay better than visualizing it..still there's a teeny gap, to me it kinda ruins the elegance of it..i really like usimg 18650 due to its higher mAH and coz i already have lots of it..looks like have to stock up on 18350 when i get my hands on this..

This is how I like to arrange my top accent rings, I prefer the gap up high, its less on my aesthetics, I would love a double length accent ring for less seams. Or one made to use when using it in 18650 mode. HInt hint

damn that looks good anavidfan, it looks good to me too because of the gap up top..optical illusion looks like the atty connector starts after the ring. now silver accent looks nicer than brass..hmm hmm hmmmmmmmmm

There is no gap if you use AW IMR 18490's. There is a gap if you use Efest 18500's.

LOL, now Im wishing I had another satin top accent ring for when the "Satan" one gets here. I guess I can live with out it being in 18650 mode

My Satin is coming with stainless steel accents , with the Idea that I could have contrasting accents. I ordered an extra satin before I got the 2nd ELA, so now I will be able to have polished ELA in 18650 with a nice polished covered extension.
