That is just beautiful. I was wondering when someone would do that. Im hoping to get a similar look when I get my satin. I plan on mixing parts from my polished with the satin.
Maybe Cucco can send one off to be customized.
Looking at it some more, I would have left the top accent ring on top cap all satin and the bottom accent ring all satin, its almost too stripy on those areas.
But dang, if its not amazing.....

It's a shame the vape 'n Shine folks don't offer engraving services. I'd like to engrave my name on the mods I plan on keeping plus if I ever grow up to become somebody, then I could totally sell it for a buncha moolah. So, I was thinking of options for the ELA and one I'd kind of like to see is a flaired top accent ring. I put my considerable PAINT skills to work. I think it would be cool to have a flared top ring. One of the things I like best about the ELA is how multi dimensional it is and this would add another dimension to it. If David could make them in a longer version for the 18650, that would be even more cool. Sadly, the total of my metal working experience is using a manual can opener.
Another idea would be a lightsaber style top (and I am not even a starwars geek)

O.k. i need some help here please,and if any of you are having the same problem with your ELA miss-firing.
This has been going on for about,..a good week now.I have had nothing but miss fires,after miss fire,etc..I have my R91% on top/Efest BT 18650 and it just miss fires like mad.I have broken the ELA down and had just the bottom tube with battery exposed to see what the throw is like when the button is hit.Every time i hit the button the battery pops up but it moves slightly to the right,or slightly to the left each time(caused by the o-ring i guess)causing the button top(of the batt)to miss the 510 pin.
The other O-rings that come with the ELA are the same size as what is in the tube already so changing it out is neither here nor there,and adding one in the tube will add more throw than the button can travel.I am at a loss and have since gone to my Legacy until i can some how,...??? Get this corrected.Any help/ideas are most welcome.

Have you encountered misfires using any other atties? Do you have the 510 screw in your R91 screwed in tight?
The only batts i use are Efest.
EDIT: It has been working flawlessly for the past four months and i just don't understand it????

I was having similar occurrences in the last few weeks. I took mine apart, thought it was my atomizers, but they work great on my Simplicity. My button would get mushy, like the oring was in the way? Or it would take so much force that I kept getting my locking ring slip. Took it apart, including the button parts and noticed I had a lot of gunky / rusty build up on the Rhodium contact. It feels like the button is not reaching the battery quite right.
SOmetimes I will fiddle with it and it hits hard for a long time, then I change the battery and its acting like Im using an old dying battery. THen fiddle and again, perfect. I thought I had a short, you cant believe how many times and how many method of builds till I said DOH, put the Atties on Noisy Cricket, and no problems , perfect consistent powerful hits. So its not my builds/ atties.
I used alcohol and some of the odd build up comes off but there is a layer that wont come off. I also have that on my top contact. I tried to change the oring also, but its hard to tell if the 4 extra orings are the same size , because the one down in the bottom of the lower tube is much thicker. I dont know if this is because of my 45 min + firing accident. I put one of the 4 extra and they are really loose.
It was driving me nuts, because ELA should be performing the same if not , better than the little 350. I think it might be a combo of one or more of 3 things: either my contacts got damaged from the intense heat, or my spring is off, cause I can see it thru the tube sort of catching around the pin, or the oring.
I sent mine out today with a heavy heart. I was hoping to be able to wait till ELA #2 got here so I could compare those areas, but it was making me mad and mostly sad, because after using it since July it has become an extension of my arm.
I didnt want to post anything about it, because sometimes isolated problems makes rumors run rampant, and before you know it, the rumours end up with crazy things like " an ELA has exploded taking half of Orange County, ca with it" LOL
I love ELA and love Super T, but now that you posted I cant just " keep quiet" That happens in "other " forums.
We should feel secure with any concerns and support each other and know that we are safe to love ELA and divulge any "problems" that might happen.
So please dont "hate" me because I am divulging an actual possible problem with my ELA.
Super T told me to send it back and they would give it a good going over and take care of any problems. I am certain they will get her back in tip top, like new condition. I have every ( darn , there is a word that goes there, but cant remember it) but you get the idea. I have faith that it will be perfection again.
My ELA is in the mailbox all alone , Im already having withdrawals, no really, I love the Simplicity, but its all unbalance with an Odysseus that out weighs it by 3 times and Kayfun that is a bit lighter but doesnt " feel " right.

Yes the pin in the R91 is in tight and i have had it adjusted also,and i have had it flush mounted,and with a gap.Nothing seems to help??
EDIT: Sorry i miss read the last post it looked like you said batteries,lol.

Have you tried taking the button apart? Mine get really dirty, right down inside where the little black pin seats to the threaded part of the RHodium contact/ pin. Now I dont know if I messed something up, but Ive tried to losen up the rhodium contact and tried making it tight and hasnt helped me for long.
Before I had the misfires or no fire, I would notice a decline in power and after cleaning all would be perfect. But now after over heating the parts and having that build up, the cleaning does not make a big difference.
All you might need is a good cleaning with strong alcohol.
I think a good total breakdown and cleaning / maintenance video is needed now that some of us have had our ELAs for 4 or 5 months with heavy use. I also would like to see a more detailed how to take the locking ring apart. Mine get filthy , full of black gunk . I think I might have gotten the inner ring that slide all out of shape because I forget which side it comes out easier from, ooops.
Yea i took mine apart too and noticed the gunk build up but,it was not on my pin,it was gunked around the button itself.I did clean all the contacts though with just a plain Q-tip,nothing else,and the contacts are all shiny like day one.
I took the O-ring out of the tube because i wanted to see if changing it would help,and the other 4 large O-rings in the bag of goodies is the same size.I do not know what to do this is driving me mad,having to change over to my Legacy,not that it's a bad MOD but,i want to use my ELA if you know what i mean.Now i'm sitting here looking at which regulated MOD to use and that is pitiful,hehehhehehehehe.I use .5-.8 coils and you can't use regulated MOD's for that,and i do not want to build a 1.5+ coil for regulated.Oh i am at my whits end.If it is something simple i am overlooking that will suck big time,lol.

Just curious, did you happen to try two thin o-rings? Did it make the button throw too long?
I used my Kayfun 3.1 on my noisy cricket yesterday. Using the Kiklet and a shorty T-tip help to keep that combo from feeling so top heavy. But yeah, it's not an ELA.

Dam if Im not fighting myself from running outside and taking my ELA back inside and unpacking it again.... YEs again, Ive have packed it 4 times since thurs. I keep thinking of another possible reason and then get frustrated and pack her up again.
