So, I cleaned everything while leaving the atty still attached to the top cap.... still hot button. Removed, cleaned contacts and reconnected the atty, not so tightly, as it was down pretty tight. And... Hot button gone! The contacts for the atty and the ELA were spotless, so I'm confident the hot button was due to the atty being screwed on too tight. Thanks again everyone!

For anyone who cares, it seems the flat button for the ELA will be available in a satin and polished finish!

Question, just noticed the "Precise ELA Compression Band" that David has (currently out of stock).
What is that used for?

I'm putting faith on all ela testimonials. Because I've purchased all the options minus brass tube including preorder of the strata. I have all the bips and bops ...but with an order #167..I've got 2mnths more till the elusive ELa arrives. Based on Dave's last update. Guess he's not going to make the deadline of completing all 2013 ela orders. Guess I should happy able to snatch up a cancelled order back in AUG! Now to stalk the super t site for those flatbottom switches

Thanks raqball, so that begs the question - does the knurled locking ring not quite do its' job in locking the telescoping tube?
Otherwise why have it? Is there a cosmetic twist to this?

If we are still only at 16xxx... my order is 17xxx; that is a long long way to go. I think David says these are from June orders....some of us will still be waiting for some time. I guess its a good thing we have other mods to fill in till they arrive.

The order number span is irrelevant. The order numbers represent all Super-T purchases. The date spans, are not as relevant as before. I would guess, your wait will be a great deal less than previous wait times.

You can't really go by order #'s.. Take a 100 block of Super T orders. 60 might have been for ELA's or 2 might have been for ELA's. There is no way of knowing..

The order that I cancelled a while back still has not came up. When I placed that order I believe there was 35 ELA's left from the original pre-order run. Since then, there have also been a number of cancellations. Add to that the recent 35 that were listed and you could have anywhere from 50-100 ELA's in front of you, depending on when you ordered..

I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy but I'd plan on a 5-6 month wait. If it comes sooner than that, then it's nothing but bonus!
