Teehee 16mm,20mm and 22mm slant caps.

I don't know if those caps are just mock ups or not, but regardless, we could do up slant caps that slant down to popular rba/rda sizes if anyone is interested? Let us know!

The guy who sold you the ELA...I wonder what he did with the accent ring?

Maybe he needed an engagement ring for a very tall and large beautiful girl?
He was having a fancy dinner party and was short one napkin holder?
He has thick ears and needed to for his piercing?

Maybe he has another ELA and wanted it for when he uses it in 18650 mode?

The advantage of it (besides looking cool) is that it eliminates the cosmetic cap which has a tendency to unscrew when trying to take the top cap off the extension tube, which makes you have to first remove the cosmetic cap then the top cap just to remove it from the extension tube.

HA! ok, you win lol.
I'll order and you'll see a note that says "ok to include in pre-order #16275" which should be on your final assembly bench. (shipping notice received Wednesday). Oh, and no more ELA options please ACCEPT a 4-5 ml tanked rba!

David, a nice slant cap as shown would be fantastic, Having one on the Origen(in which I hope to sell when my Strata and Ti arrive) I would love it. Thinner walled upper for draw and dripping with the interior base wall angled down so the juice flows down and doesnt sit on a "shelf".

Yes VERY INTERESTED! My configuration will be ELA to Kiklet so we're talking a pretty obvious transition that I would like to clean up. Others have Kiklets and many have 22mm RBAs so you would certainly have buyers.

FYI, Solid Top Cap ordered :)

Hmm, why would you use a kiklet on an ELA?

Anyone have consistency issues while using a kick2? Sometimes I push the button, and it doesn't fire. If I move the button a little bit, while maintaining pressure, it will start working.

We've all had those issues, but the Kick2's are much better then the Kick1's. Clean the contacts of the kick and dab a bit of noalox on all the contacts of the kicks, including the ground. Make sure your unit is clean too. One area if you are experiencing voltage drop or inconsistent firing is the inside of the shield where the button passes through and the aluminum band inside the compression ring, roll up a bit of 400+ grit sandpaper and give it a spin inside both.

Im have that problem also. I think it varies. SOme use the Kick2 all the time with no problems . Im thinking it might me the actual Kick, some work better than others?

Maybe to add to the "we would like", as Idaho has mentioned on various occasions....How about a different lock ring other than knurled? Maybe one that matched the bottom accent ring? I think Ela would be even more beautiful if the knurled was replaced with a matching ring to the bottom accent style

I honestly do not care about the slant caps but would most likely pick them up anyway.

... so if I want to play around with different coils and adjust power I can.
Your question would apply to any mech and the use of DNA modules as well.

I think what vaptamist meant is the Kick will fit inside the ELA as is, no need for the extra length of the Kiklet.

Agree, I misinterpreted the question. This answer much easier - plug'n play at it's finest!
20 second swap out for full mech, 20 second swap in for regulated, doesn't get any easier than that.

Edit: And if you have the guy on battery changeout vid do it, then we're talking 10 seconds max :)

I okay the knurled ring as is, but I would definitely pick up a smooth locking ring or one that matches the bottom accent!

I would likely pass on the slanted top cap(s) as the Strata will be perma-glued to my ELA.

I think your preference for a matching lock ring to the accent ring is problematic. The accent ring is smooth with its' circumferential grooves not providing a good grip for rotation. In short, change in form would impact function in this case. For me the look of the knurled locking ring is awesome and it no doubt provides a great grip to lock and unlock the telescoping tube (primary function). Others have also commented on how great the knurled ring looks. I'm sure David has some "critical mass" of interest he needs to see before he tools up and I don't think the votes will be there. May not have enough interest for the slant caps either but I would jump on that one if offered. Remember David's pole on the Flat Bottom Button? - interest went through the roof and whallah! Just my 2 cents ...

Personally I would rather see a knurled bottom accent ring. But us guys from the land down under are strange so I guess I would be the only one that would like that..
