I don't have my polished yet, but I've had other polished super-t devices. I think for now, polished is the way to go if you're trying to put an rba on it, since options are limited for satin rba's unless you get some custom refinishing done. However, for a a disposable 510 atomizer, with adjustable draw cap, I think the satin ELA is a sexy beast.

I think it will really come into its own with a satin flat bottom cap and a satin strata on top of it, in 500 mode. It will be a nice, sturdy, beautiful piece of satin aesthetic deliciousness, and will really be unique looking compared to everything else out there.

Satin doesn't translate well to photos, it's definitely something better experienced in person. I prefer the tactile feel of it as well. Even as resistant to finger prints as the "polished" finish that super-t uses is - I still get some streaking on it after a few days of use. I think I have acidic oils on my fingers, which wreak havoc on polished metals and tarnish up brass something fierce. Humidity in Florida doesn't help either. I never have that problem with satin. I've used it for months on end and it's remained the same as when I received it.

Of course, this is all personal preference. Some people just don't "get" satin, and some do.

I also think the satin knurled locking ring looks fantastic.

I took these photos on a sunny day, with a cheap, gimmicky macro lens. I think they demonstrate what the finish actually looks like when light hits it, as well as really gives you an idea what the texture is like.

Great shots, Vapt, I love macro shots. I use my macro lens 95% of the time. I have to actually force myself to take "whole subject" shots. Dont know what you mean by "gimmicky" lens but it takes amazing shots. I really have to get myself one of those drip tips, I keep checking for the reg length and satin and shorty length in polished, but I never find them at the same time. I need some satin drip tips. I want that one and the velocity in reg length and shorty in satin too.

My first name is Priscilla so I have to have that "P" super-t tip. The few people that see my Simplicity assume that the "P" on the button is something that I had custom done with my initial. I need ELAs to have my initial too:)

So david I notice on the SuperT website the ELA accent rings are out of stock but I can still put them in my cart without a problem...im assuming that means people can still order but there is a wait time, is this is true what is the wait looking like? I need a stainless set. Thanks
