Yes, when we press your Rhodium plated center post into the new adjustable holder, it will fit old ELA's and new ELA's, all cap types including adjustable draw. It was a thread problem on the first batch of ELA adjustable center post holder. Newer models aren't having the problem. Our fix is that you send in your adjustable post holder (it contains the pressed in Rhodium contact that we need to press out and press into the new adjustable post holder). Some have sent the caps, but we no longer need those, just the adjustable post holder. We have no more rhodium plated contacts, so we need to use your existing one.
Hi guys remember me? The guy with the hot button issue!?!? So my friend with a ELA has the Heavy Duty switch spring. I tried it on mine and the issue is gone.... Unfortunately its sold out =( Im coming to you guys to see if anyone had a extra Heavy Duty switch spring they would like to sell to me??????? Let me know! Thanks!
No spring here. But, if I see them, I will let you know or snatch one for you.![]()
Okay.. I have had my Patriot Dual coil on my friends ELA for a whole dead batteries worth of vaping now. I havent had one hot button. Im to the conclusion its my ELA now... Im going to have to send it in =(

Its surprisng how filthy it gets just from week to week, so if you have had it for a while it might be full of gunk and the hot button could be a result.
This. Due to all the parts ELA have, it needs frequent cleaning to perform optimally. More than any other mod I own.
That's the only "flaw" I can find with it.![]()
I have NEVER cleaned my ELA's yet... save for a button once or twice. My ELA's still perform flawlessly. 8 months with no cleaning, still hits like a champ!

I keep wondering all the time how some of them are plugging away perfectly while some of ours are getting decreases in performance and need to clean more often.
I think i posted this before but i think it has to do with humidity etc , but i think its the atomizers. I use Odysseus mainly. They have the air intake on the 510 connection which causes condensation going back into the to cap and inside the tube. This causes a film and dirt.
Cucco uses a kayfun which uses a side air intake so it and others like it stay cleaner?
Just a theory

Hey girl!
Far to many variables, Volts, Ohms, batteries, temperature, humidity, length of time on the fire button, vaping style, and most important FM Heels.. I'm sure there are ones I left out.
I heard that Nacho enjoys the FM Spikes...just sayin.
Wha!?
Your spring may of failed. It is the most common reason for button heat. Over time the spring may of finally failed. Clean the device including breaking the switch completely down. and swap springs and test. The build up can cause a conductive failure as well. I would invest in a HD spring if you are going to keep running dc on anything! I did!
Cucco asks a great question as well. Ohms?
Even though Nachostud hasnt cleaned his, there are too many variables to compare apples to apples.
Much like 2 identical cars with the same mileage, one may have a spark plug failure and the other none. GL!
