At what point does an ELA cease to be an ELA?
I can see your point, the ELA is near perfect as is. I can see why and actually embrace the extras. I dont understand modders coming out with V2, V3, V4 , etc sometimes within months. Its very frustrating for some as that means they have to buy another whole
device just to have the added option or choice. For some its not a problem, just adds to the collection. For some it means having to sell the previous model for the new, which depreciates previous model .
I think its the best thing in the world when you have an item that is "modular" meaning that you can basically have endless upgrades - customization s, the fun and freedom to use a slant top for a particular atty, etc.
There are many companies that make a lot of money on these 3rd party accessories. I could never understand the original modder not making very wanted items themselves, maybe not as a constant item , but at least small runs. We love our ELAs , but some like to have little accessory choices to have it be unique to "them"
I am happy that Super T has been so accommodating to our " little wishes " . When we buy 3rd party parts, we take the chance that the finish might not match as well as the quality. If it does have compatibility issues, at least we can send it back for a little "tweak" and that lifetime warranty is part of it.
