At what point does an ELA cease to be an ELA?

It was the original look and functionality that first attracted me to the Ela, and I still love that look :) However the flexibility to make both minor and major changes to way it looks is one of its major benefits IMO. At the moment I currently have 8 different button combinations alone.

Technically the ELA is a Telescopic version of the Precise Plus. Like I said, if it ends up looking like a big fat P+ , thats not a bad thing , is it? I love the P+, always have . Its the ultimate in a MOD, as far as Im concerned, you can telescope it, or uni-tube it, slant it, or flat it, beautiful ( and best ) original button or flat, It endless and I love it. This will take away any need of future purchases in my book. Honestly Ive contemplated getting a PAPs X , Its beautiful, but if I can have a solid tubed ELA, I see no need for any other device.

2x22m tops for me. I'd still like them to have the groove in the side, that way I can still put my O rings on them and my ELA never touches anything when I set it down. I'd like 2 18650 tubes when they are made.

For those of you that are unsure, the ELA stops being an ELA when you remove the nut that holds the top post. Seems absurd but those are the rules. I didn't write them.
