I don't feel that they are the best way to go. When you have two contact points that don't want anything to do with each other, how does that make it efficient?
Pretty bits and pieces do us no good, if we do not have the parts to keep the base product running. I am lucky. I have four, to mix and match parts. Not everyone has four. Just sayin....
I'm lucky too, I have the Queens of All Fixed-Length mods, the PrecisePluses. To b astardize the ELA is...what's that word? Oh yeah, an atrocity!
The lowly spring. So unglamorous.
People can like what they like and if super-t wants to make it, that's great! I just won't be purchasing it. I can see the appeal, it just doesn't appeal to me.
I think some replacement parts are in order. After that I would like to see a revision to the P+ line, although I'm still on the fence about whether or not I need one. Then I'd really like to see some brand new things we haven't seen before.
I'm also going to start a list on Solid tubes (both in 18350 and 18500) to start with. Let me know what you'd like so we can get an estimate on how many to produce.
I will not buy a fixed length tube out of principle. There's a functional reason for the ELA's width, and that would be eliminating the function. I don't believe in form at the expense of function from a design perspective.
I understand people like options, and doodads and parts, but a 24-25 mm fixed-tube mod from Super-T is the antithesis of "precise", so I'll just wait for the new P+ line to come out and probably spend my money on that.
Finally - hell, you have CNC - how about a box mod - CNC aluminum, DNA 30, sprung 510, 26650 battery or dual 18650 (I have an Axis mod in my hand - and can say that dual 18650 is WONDERFUL!). Basically - what it comes down to is there is a following - and they know the QUALITY that they will get here - so - let's think about BLOWING people's mind - a mod that, hell - maybe costs $400 bucks - but to where people think it's a BARGAIN.
I dunno - there are mod makers that want to sell to the masses - and there are mod makers that want to innovate and impress. I don't see where new parts for an existing mod is - innovative. Truthfully - anyone with a lathe and any skill....could do it.
We can all admit - and all know what a pain in the...it was to get the ELA - right? Why make it...look like anything other than an ELA?

Definately we need replacement parts. Heaven knows Ive been hinting and whining about it. OEM springs, compression bands, accent rings, bottom contacts and my question about the top contact has never been answered. I hate to nag, but I guess thats what wives are for.
