So... Any idea when they'll start shipping out to customers?

Should be machining on the main bodies tomorrow afternoon (it got pushed back a few days due to the Shockwave emergency). I'll know a little bit better towards the end of the week.

Seems like every time we ask if you know anything about when it will be shipping out its always... "I'll know a little bit more by the end of the week"

You guys are making things seem like small hiccups... but apparently you have broken tools and have had to hire someone who MIGHT know what they are doing to operate your new fancy machine.

Just admit you may have possibly bitten off more than you can chew and it is going to be another month before we even think about getting our devices in our hands.

I do not like people/companies that dance around the truth because the truth might cost them money. You already have our money, we deserve more information. If you guys wanted to be sneaky snakes then you should have let us keep our money till these things are done.

You say "we should be making main bodies by the middle of the week" all I hear is "we should be able to figure out how to machine the EASIEST PART of the device by the middle of the week!" Seeing as the main body is what... a tube?

I'm sure the wait is worth it! But please... be more honest with these people. You are getting their hopes up and leading them around by their noses.

Don't expect these devices for another month at least folks.

I am sorry you feel this way Zeybrin. I feel we have tried to communicate as thoroughly and as straight forward as possible. And you are incorrect that the main body is the easiest part, it is the hardest and has the longest machining cycle time of all the ELA parts by over TWICE of the next most complicated part, the top cap. It is not a straight thru tube like other mods and has both internal and external threads as well as a machined in ledge near the bottom which makes it a 2 operation part (meaning it has to be machined from one side and then flipped around and machined from the other).

If you would like full refund, you are free to do so at any time and we will immediately refund your money. We will not keep or take anyones money who does not feel comfortable doing so.

We have given regular updates, even including videos on specific parts being machined, something i've never seen another manufacturer do. We have full transparency here and have never intentionally mislead anyone on our production status. I do not know how we could be any more honest or transparent then we are.

Also, as far as the delays, some of them are not machine related, they are related to me making tweaks to the parts themselves as we are proving out the programs. I've seen several areas that i can improve as we machine them and having production in house has allowed me to make changes in the parts on the spot. I am a perfectionist and maybe that has it's pitfalls as far as the end customers wait goes, but i won't compromise our creations to speed production. Not the Super-T way of doing business.

It seems there is always one or two people that are going to be impatient. We are all on the same boat and we all would love to have it in our hands right now. Some are just more reasonable. Some wont be happy no matter what.

I for one rather wait for perfection than have it thrown together just to make a deadline and make money.

supert has great customer service and ive never felt they lead me on. And they will give you a prompt refund if u ask (ive done this on a couple occasions and they have always done it with no hassle what so ever.) i ordered an ela but got impatient(my fault not supert, im too impulsive) and got a refund. I still plan on getting one, just decided i needed the money for something else at the time and will reorder once they are at the shipping stage. Not saying anyone should do this, just what i did and that supert didnt hesitate to offer refund and they have never held it against me for canceling orders. Now i may get on their nerves, but thats another story....:D

David's words speak for themselves.
I know it's probably hard for most customers to understand delays. We're the ones ponying up the cash. Those of us who appreciate Super-T products from previous purchases also expect perfection. Time and perfection are sometimes at odds and at that point it becomes a choice. It is good that David chooses perfection because these objects will be around forever not only for our pleasure but as a testament to his work.

I rather wait for somthing I know will be great then order somthing , get it in 3 days just to find out it is not as good as I expected.
Might sound like a fanboy but with all my SuperT mods (wopping 3 of them ) I am more then satisfied.
Not one has a problem maker related.
Me dropping one so it gets banged up badly? yep I did that.
David fixing it for free? yep he did that.
Considering all that am I willing to wait? yep I am.

I am not complaining,as you said in house is allowing you to make tweaks and perfect the device i paid for.I am willing to wait for a completely perfected, and functioning device. While i will admit,i am anxious about wanting it in hand to use,i have no problem with the wait as i know i will have it in hand when you have completed the design.
