No but seriously guys... What does ELA stand for?
Exceptional Length Action? Extendable Length Apparatus/Attributes? Lol Egregious Lack of an Answer? Exceptionally Lame Acronym? Elephants Look Awesome? Equine Laryngitis Affliction?
I could go on all day...

103 pages read at one sitting?! One word: Hardcore!!!
If you think the machining looks beautiful on that prototype (which was done on a manual lathe), just wait until you see the final product made on our new CNC. I can say with complete confidence it is the finest machined product that has ever rolled out of Super-T!
Its after my daughter, but is to be pronounced like any three letter Acronym (they seem to use them in cars alot) such as Pontiac GTO, BMW, Acura NSX, Precise ELA etc....
Sorry, David. I think I confused the issue by posting that I've recently been mis-pronouncing the name of your mod "eee-la." What can I say? IGL (I got lazy.) Yes, you're absolutely right, the ELA was meant to be pronounced as you would any 3-letter acronym.
RMS Titanic anyone???![]()
So David, I remember you saying that the ELA switch is the same as the P+... How in the world did you make the ELA the same diameter as the P+? Is the P+ just that thick, or were you just talking about the internals/button and not the exterior flange?
Because dang, I thought for sure that the ELA would at least be a couple mm larger in diameter.

You guys are killing me!! I don't know how I should pronounce it now... LOL

The ELA is a few mm thicker than the P+. As for the how, the only part of the switch section that would be different between the two is the outer ring that screws into the bottom of the tube. The part that is the same is the middle part, the "plunger" as it were, the part that actually moves. Once you actually see it and how it works you'll understand that a lot better than I'm able to explain it . . . i'm a walking brain fart today, it's a wonder I can string together a complete sentence![]()
Ok, so here's something that's been on my mind...
Center posts.... I know this part needs to be plated. Was this the first part to be run off as to get them sent out to the platers to work on? We all know how the platers really toss a monkey wrench into these mods! I did call it a while back, betting that ELA's parts would all be done and ready while waiting for the platers to do their job.
Give us some insight on the immediate future of ELA's relationship with the platers... we're all dying to know!! (Ok, I was just guessing. I am dying to know!)

I'm ready to order the ELA. I'm curious about what you are thinking of using on top of it. I'm looking for a rebuildable and noticed that 310 vapors has the Z-atty U in stock. What are others thinking in terms of dressing up your ELA?

Also, forced i've been reading this thread and just curious what the top cap dimension is going to be? From what I understand it is around 24mm correct? Just bought a new RBA which is about 22mm in diameter and just want to get an idea of how it will look.
