I'm not trolling or anything of that nature so don't jump me for this. But is there anyway we could get a new idea for a completion date. I have read this entire thread and and all of the updates but I'm curious if forced has an estimate for us actually getting these in our hands. I understand the machining process and have worked manufacturing for many years. I realize there is unexpected setbacks and such but when can we realistically expect to get these.

I believe he did order one and he has a right to be frustrated. Know that we are working very hard here to bring the ELA online as soon as possible. We know the end result when it is your hands will be spectacular. If i were to put an estimation on completion time, i'd estimate 2-3 weeks. I hope to have the bodies done being machined within about 2 days. Then we'll move on the center posts and bottom contact posts so we can get them out to the platers asap (we should have those done by thursday). Then we'll move onto the extension sleeves and accent rings, then the buttons (we have about 130 buttons already done from the PrecisePlus as they are the same part number) followed lastly by the top caps. I'll keep you updated as best we can.

David posted this updated estimate just a few days ago. Hope it helps.:)

Into full production on the ELA. Been working on the bodies this past week.

Video is a brass body, coolant off for demonstration purposes. Speeds and feeds are slow as they are set up for the Stainless bodies. I did up three of these Brass bodies and will be having a little giveaway contest on them in the future. Enjoy!

We can do a random draw. Or David can do a hard quiz on a relevant subject. Or David can tell us about the next project and then we could propose names and explanations of the names and the chosen name for the project would get the prize. Or the person who pays the highest customs' fee gets it. Or the person whose post is #1079 gets it :)
