. Usually within a month of acquiring a new PV, depending on your work environment, on how you use it, etc...oxidation has already taken its toll. From a .2 to.3 voltage drop underload, you might start seeing .4 to .5 drops. Not only from contact points, but also from thread connections. If you read Dave's description on the ELA (which you probably did), the tube is non threaded, it just follows a pull and push motion when changing batteries. That's one LESS row of threads to clean and worry about a good connection. Add this to rhodium contacts, in which you never have to clean (other than a 2 second wipe), and you hit home run.
