I myself always wondered why the Kicklet had to be so long, when the kick itself is so short. Not having a kicklet in hand I dont know what is inside to make have to need so much space. I think the idea of the kicklet is genius, but I just cant have my device be so long. If Im going to carry a "wand" around it better be able to do some really good magic:)

Ana, personally, I don't even use mine anymore. The constant use of RBAs for me has changed the way I look at the kick.

Ironically, I'm interested in DNA20 module :)

I still use a kick in one mod, I build my coils higher. I am intrigued by the dna 20 but honestly I have rarely gone over 10 watts on my Darwin. Odd though cause I love 0.9 ohm on a standard 3.7 mod, which is suppose to be 15 watts. The Darwin with a higher ohm coil at the average 8.5 setting is just as powerful as a low ohm coil on a freshly charged battery. It doesn't make sense, and I am shocked every time, but it is true. ymmv

I now have my own "THIS" (Ithaka, left) to go on the ELA (batch 2).

Hello
New on this part of the forum. I see some people say they in first batch from the ELA on other forums. How do you know in wich batch you are please, i preordered 20 februari, in wich batch would i fall then?

I believe batch 2 started around April 2nd, so with a February order you should be in the first batch. Lucky.

From David's 4/02/13 post in the ELA update thread:

"We are now transistioning into the second "batch". Some of the quanitities of parts we have run on the "first batch" were over what was needed and will be applied to the second batch. Since the programming and tooling is in place, the second batch (set to begin production in approximately 10 days) will be a shorter production time then the first batch."

I don't have access to any of Super T's accounts, and David is unavailable right now...so, unfortunately, I don't have any information to share with you on your batch assignment. I'd just be guessing, too. Sorry.

so is there a way to tell which batch you are on? I ordered on March 25th

The post above has been the most detailed, but still kind of an estimate. No word yet from David as to the official order # or order date cut-off between the 2 batches.

Here's a link to the post that LadyMaMa references: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...recise-ela-production-status.html#post9134233

Don't do a thing yet. Keep polished, because later on if you hate it, you can send it back in and Super T will refinish it to Satin for no charge with the lifetime refinishing warranty. Only caveat is that you can't go back from Satin to Polished finish.

Hey all, quick question to distract us all: I recently bought a mechanical mod in a polished finish (because waiting for the ELA makes me compulsively buy things I'm sure I'll sell/trade when my ELA comes in) and I hate the finish! Its a fingerprint magnet, and while I'm not all that OCD about such things it really stands out and looks bad. Plus, I know any ding or scratch will be glaring -- haven't taken it off my desk, and I'm constantly wiping it down. My problem: I ordered my ELA in the polished finish...has anyone been able to contact Dave and switch finishes? I know the man must be busy as all hell, and the last thing I want to do is distract him, but I feel like if this thing is polished it won't be perfect for me, and I want it to be my all day everyday mod. Anyone care to comment? (And don't suggest I just pre-order another one in satin...because I will...don't tempt me, I'm in a fragile state of hopeless anticipation!)

Good news guy and gals. First batch should be complete by mid next week :)

Before we get too excited - that's just the machining. Not sure if they will still need to be refinished, but I would expect more time to get them QA'd, assembled and shipped.

It won't be too much longer now!

I have a Diver and a new ibTanked 19mm tank coming as well. Should all be hitting at the same time in my mailbox. I can't wait!!

My Driver arrived a few days ago and I have to day quite impressed, vaping it now with a bit of my DIY vanilla custard. It has a nice draw on it and much less faffing around to set up than the killer.

You'll like it for sure :)

Love your "mock up" mine will look almost the same, but with Ody on top. Did you guys see my photo of the new Ithaka mouthpiece for drip tips on Odysseus? I love it. Finally my favourite atomizer will be able to be used with my favourite drip tips.
Okay, I wont make you all have to go browse the GG forum, here it is
