I just wonder how many have sold total. The order numbers are misleading, making it look as thousands have sold but Im thinking a total of may 200-300? My secret "elitist" side, ( we all have it,:) ) wants what I have to be something rare , that Im not going to run into people all over with one. LOL, I have run into people with any e-cig only a handful of times outside of a vapor store.

Im sooooo awaiting ELA.

Yeah i feel u anavid, i see the so called "popular" mods from over seas everywhere now. People camping out for them. Im glad to just sit back and wait for my ELA. I feel david is a pioneer in this game. U know when i started vaping and joined ecf, i always seen pics of "precise" mods and felt like maybe one day i can own one. But kinda saw them as a unicorn. Well im happy to have waited and am excited that my first mechanical will be a lifetime worthy super t mod, and i will be riding my unicorn into the sunset vaping away

this is like the Provari of mechanicals... set a standard SuperT mechanicals... just in time for the "mechanical device craze of '13...doesn't minimize it; it minimizes Vari... imo.

You could ask David to make a Gold one for you... how about Titanium David?

If the first pre-order was 200...and the second pre-order was also 200...I'd estimate 320 or so? Based on David saying there were 100 left on pre-order #2 when I joined this discussion.

I've been using a couple of cheaper Chinese clone mods to satiate my desire to try them. I'm hooked on the concept mechanicals and SLR and am now looking forward to having a quality mod that looks and feels great to use. The Chinese stuff works great for the price but I'm tired of finicky switches and mismatched parts and an overall low-fi feel.

So looking forward to my 2 ELAs....now I just have to get my wife hooked on mechanicals to justify having ordered 2...

This is so completely in line with my thinking and feelings about Super T and the ELA. Spot on, Mate, and well said.

So I'm a little confused about the additional accent rings sold seperately. I ordered the polished ELA with brass accents. Would it be redundant for me to get the add on rings? Or is it that I could buy say SS accent rings and change my mod to all SS, and back and forth as the mood strikes? Would getting additional brass accent rings add something further (more brass) to a polished with brass accents?

Lastly, are the brass accents that will come with my ELA removable?

Thanks.

i opted for ss rings, but am also buying additional brass rings. i think if u have a larger battery u can add ur "extra" rings so the mod looks flush the whole way. instead of the "telescopic tube" look. i think....

Okay, thanks guys. I can't wait to get this thing in my hands.

It just feels so right getting the ELA instead of going crazy with lists and co-ops and trying to obtain the forever out-of-stock and fad offerings. God, it makes me cringe how close I came to never even knowing about the ELA. The minute I laid eyes on it, read about it, understood the dedication to engineering and quality machining maintained by Super T, watched the funny video of the changing of the batteries and the ones showing the high-tech machining tools they employ in action etc... I pulled the trigger without a moments notice... all else forgotten and left by the wayside. Yeah, Baby!

I just read some post on fb, a few people complaining about a "limited run" mod with black engravings on the side. Well the reason for the complaints was because as soon as they used their polishing cloth to wipe their fingerprints off the mod, the black wiped right off the engravings.. LoL... And the weird thing is people r still falling over eachother trying to get on the "list". And its about the same price of the ELA.. Wow my hard earned money is being well spent with super T thats for sure..

Actually that mod is 116. Great mod, but still not a superT product. Nothing of the same.

Yes I own one of those mods. :)

Edit:

Here is mine, sorry I had to blur out the serial. S6302631.jpg
