Orders to 14410 have shipped. My order is 14519...crap! I'm officially second batch...oh well.

Whoever received it, please post your first thoughts.

My order is 14410. Finally a bit of luck. I placed my order on the 18th of December. This way you can sort of assess how long it'll take for yours to ship

Congrats on your shipment Mindtroverted! I hope you'll enjoy it. Please let us know what is your initial feelings once you got it. It sure help ease the pain for all of us who is still waiting.

Mine was placed on 01/01/2013 almost 2 weeks after you. I'm not complaining, just reacted to the news when I thought I was in the 1st batch. I believe the ELA is worth it all, especially to my family so a few more days should be ok.

I ordered this cheap atty with some really nice knurling. I am not a knurling fan, but I have to say it looked good with the satin finish of the p+. I have been slightly curious to see what the new knurling would look like with a satin finish on the ELA. After seeing the match made, I am super stoked I got satin!

Please please please to you who get yours first, especially those who chose satin, I beg of you to post pictures!

You are still in the first batch of 200, however shipping is going out in "waves" of 10-20 at a time (just a guestimate no idea how many Super-T can "wave" good-bye to in a day).

You're still in the first batch. The "batches" aren't shipping batches, they're production batches.

Hey, dont worry, I rather they take their time packaging and double checking all is perfect with my order and ELA. I would hate for them to rush them and leave something out or let an imperfection ship out.

That being said, I probably just jinxed myself. Seem I usually end up with that 1 in a million problem item. But than again, this is Super-T and their standards of perfection are way above the standards.

In the last production update FF mentioned he would let us know about the next wave on Monday/Tuesday. So yeah, I think we can expect them do go out during the week.

Problem is, the Polka Holiday is starting soon and everything in Minnesota will be closed for a month.
Polka what?? Your kidding right? Of to google this. Is this some kind of American joke thingy?

I have preorders on both a second-batch ELA (polished) and a second-batch Ithaka. It would be pretty satisfying for these two disparate yet exquisitely well-designed pieces to converge on the same day. Or maybe I've just been reading too much Iain Banks...
Hard to beat reading Culture novels vaping with a good whiskey while waiting for a what will be the best mod in the market. :toast:

14410 last order number sent out saturday... i'm 15113, and 15203... both these are supposedly in first batch according to David's older post about cutoff numbers between batches..

Thats at least 600 order numbers between 14410...and 15113...yet still in first batch of 200; that means theres at least 400 non ELA orders in the meantime. crazy.

and btw... a big btw... I'm hoping the ELA is going to satisfy my need to find the best mechanical devices for my needs:- for my set of genesis atomizers, rda's, (and i just ordered up a diver - tank setup.

i have a P+, a Legacy right now, and a mech clone.
I have a Hybrid, and a couple more coming... (up to now, i like having both mech's w/geni's, and hybrids).

but with 2 ELA's coming, we'll see where they stack up. hopefully ELA will be as much a mechanical device as i'll ever need.
My 14 yr old daughter will be back for some of the summer, from boarding school, and i want my desk cleared of the tons of gear i have all over the place....
I want to keep just a few top-shelf devices at hand... and i just "know" the ELA, in whatever batt size setup, will be there.
can't wait to try it in 18500, and 18350 ... do i need one more for 18650? no joke.

i have two clone mech mods on the way. on a list for a "aztek" mod made in mexico, then the ELA on pre order.
i ordered the clone mech because i really want a taste of mechanicals (i only have vv devices) but as soon as i get the ELA im putting the clones up on classies and sticking with ELA and the other one.. ELA is a keeper for sure.. the lifetime warrany will be passed along to my one year old son when hes ready :)

just wondering if someone can refresh my memory; read somewhere that 1. telescope devices can lose some conductivity (added resistance) by way of the extra metal and the telescoping.
2. how is this overcome by the "better" tele's
3. how does ELA stack up? i vaguely recall reading David mentioning this...? not sure.

Actually i'm not sure this will matter much anyhow; i've used a clone that should show some droppage, and with my .9 to 1.2 Ohm coils, it doesn't bother me at all so far.
