Nobody ever talks about the Spheroid. I recently discovered it and it has become my second favorite atomizer. For me it strikes a great balance between dripping and capacity, retaining most of the sanitary and flavor benefits of dripping while allowing me to stick an all-day vape in my pocket with no fear of leaking even upside down. The carto-like concept of it kept me away from it for a long time, but after using it and finding that cartos have little in common with it operationally as well as its stellar flavor and vapor production, I've been sold. I understand the Prometey can work under the same principle?
I made a fair share of goofs while I was learning the Spheroid, but when I realized its relationship to dripping and used a "less is more" approach to assembly it has done me right in a big way.

Glad you like it snork! I'm having a little bit of seller's remorse.

But I did just pick up a brass bottom button and hopefully get a shipping notice tomorrow (14823)

Ive been tempted my the Spheroid many times, but its long profile is what makes me hesitate. I had the Steam Machine and it too works on the same principle at the Spheroid and Promety. The steam machine was beautiful and vaped just as expected, amazing. But I sold it and I miss it but it was too "wand" like with my 18650 ST.

I am tempted by the Promety , but scared of change. Im so used to Odysseus and my fear of change keeps me from taking the leap. Also I get confused, the Promety comes in 3 styles and I think one of them has a flat bottom without the slight indent on bottom. I just dont know the style name and cant find it , as they took some of the photos off the thread for ordering it.

Even getting ELA was a bit "a nerving" again, I dont do well with change and I dont have the money to get things on a whim and get another and another. It was a decision that took me a LOT of thought and so far Im not even thinking of the money and I love it.

Unfortunately i have yet to see a brass locking button on a super-t device, though admittedly I've only been acquainted with them for the last year or so, but even in the classifieds all I've seen is stainless, so i figured get it while the gettin's good!

I think David mentioned before that a locking brass button isn't feasible because the soft metal wouldn't work well with the detents in the button.

The Spheroid seems to go well on a lot of things and mine will certainly get a turn of the ELA when I get it - it has been my go to device since I got one soon after they came out. Just to give you an idea of what it might look like, here it is on two completely different mods

my wife uses the vivi's, but honestly they worked good for me. I would not hesitate to use one if i needed to, but we all are different
You would be surprised, V. It's not only tick. A lot of older members here were successful with the Vivi. Personally, it never worked for me. What matters is: "As long as you are happy."

VARIANT 1 HAS DIMPLES ON TANK TO MATCH PROVARI, VARIANT 2 DOES NOT, THATS THE ONLY DIFFERENCE

variant 3 is just dripping mode, not tank with filler

Im still waiting on my prometey

actually im on a pc. When printing batches of work here at work, we have to name them all in caps (for reports for some reason) so my caps lock stays on all the time. And i suck at typing so any time i start typing i dont realize its all caps till im done. I got tired of retyping everything so now i just apologize for it, LOL

In honor of Snork's spheroid commentary I decided to bust out my "oid" tip for my A7. Super glad I did, too! Sucker is vaping real nice! 1.5Ω coil and I actually had to drop my watts to 7! (I usually hang around 11) Only bad part about it is filling it when it's dry. It's always a reminder why I mainly drip!

Has there been a pic with ELA + Terminator-C yet? That'll be my combo in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend the Terminator-C for anyone on the fence looking for a burner for their ELA. It's reasonably priced, readily available, and tastes as good as dripping IMHO.

If only it was as easy to set up as a dripper! I just got rid of mine 2 days ago for that reason. That's another reason why I mainly drip, easiest atties to set up are always drippers.

True, but 7ml lasts a bit longer between fills than 10 or 20 drops. It's a definite trade-off between simplicity of set-up and convenience of large capacity.

I post a few pages back, of ELA with Odysseus, so it should be basically the same, oh, heck said I was not going to post more photos, but you made me do it Rojo

Here's a pic of mine, but it's got the long Rampage tank on it.
