The Spheroid seems to go well on a lot of things and mine will certainly get a turn of the ELA when I get it - it has been my go to device since I got one soon after they came out. Just to give you an idea of what it might look like, here it is on two completely different mods

You couldn't be more correct about the PAPS Spheroid. Easy set up as Atty or dripper and rock solid. Perseas mentioned that they will be building a 22mm Spheroid soon.

True that. And if you got extra parts then that's fine. It's the best atomizer I've tried, and I've tried a lot of them. If you're having any problems, feel free to contact me

It has become my favorite too, thanks. It is actually in my eyes the best atty money can buy bar none and I've recently tried a bunch. Too bad it's not 1mm thicker.

...Snork I hear you brother :). If you like the spheroid (I know you like simple post silica rba), you would really dig that kayfun. It's like your infinity but tanked and to me, smoother yet gets in your throat. Made me cough at first lol.

One other thing that occurs to me is that the Prometey is easier to set up. More room to work with, and screws instead of thumb nuts. I have trouble setting up the Spheroid without pliers because I usually can't get the nuts tight enough without them. If I'm going to need a tool, I prefer a screwdriver over pliers.

Yes, same principal, though the Prometey (IMO) has some significant advantages:

- wider, so it holds much more juice
- titanium, so it's much lighter
- has a very tall air post below your coil, so leaking is minimal to non-existant
- due to the tall air post, it can be set up as a dripper (no filler, with wick down instead of up)
- air hole on the side rather than the 510 connector. Makes for better airflow and (I think) also helps it to not leak
- has a better airflow, IMO. Maybe slightly tighter than the spheroid, but not much. Seems perfect to me.
- it looks totally bad-... on the ELA

Price point is close to the Spheroid ($120 including shipping, plus about $9 to send a stupid Moneygram, so about $129). It is, however, a bit harder to get. You have to get on the dang list.

Sounds great. If I had a Promety I'd probably like it, but I don't so I'll do my best to forget it exists. Mustn't go chasing atomizers; this evening I went downstairs to find a floor drain backing up, an obvious job for a pro. :(

Yeah, I know what you mean. This can be an expensive hobby. I've spent way too much money on it, but for the first time since I started vaping over three years ago, I feel like I have what I need, hardware wise, to avoid buying anything for a good while. Hard to imagine a mod coming along to top the ELA and the Shockwave any time soon. And as for attys, I'm liking cotton so much that I'm not interested in anything else, especially something that appears to have a high fiddle factor, such as the ceramic wicks. I hope it stays that way.

I have a few questions I got a P+ 18500 I was wondering if I should either use a 18500 or a 18490? At the moment I'm using a black AW 18500. And I've noticed this isn't really giving me much power? I know it has a lot to do with setup. But I was just wanting to know if the 18490 would be a better choice? Also would it be better for low/sub ohm coils?

18490 would definitely be a better choice in all regards.

Why though Blix I use only 18500's for everything and i'm running my 0.7 dual coil Nimbus just fine ? As long as the battery can take the amperage draw you should be good to go. The only difference is size and it is very minimal.

The 18490 are 1100 mAh and the 18500 is 900 mAh IIRC, but it looks like 18500 is going away, seems most are selling the 18490's now it seems.
The black 18500 ones are protected and not suitable for low ohms, and doesn't have the "safe chemisty" of the IMR's.

Yeah..I keep telling myself the next mod or device will be the one....
P+18650
ELA
Electric Angel
Hana Modz DNA20
Jazz Cartopipe
AMP Tank
Cobra
Z Atty
etc....
I am sure saving a ton by not smoking....<laughing> Doesn't matter - because - after 27 years of up to 2PPD - I don't smoke - at all. Can't put a price on that.

Would be nice though...if the ELA was THE ONE. I'm thinking it may be - I'm 2nd batch...so we will see....
