You'll need to take some metal polish to the inside of the tube to get the bluing off so the Kick can make contact with the inner wall.

So if I order it Polished with Brass accents will it look like this ELA pic? See how the one ELA has the wide brass band below the 510 cap?Does that come with it or will I need to order that separate?
Make sure your order your Polished with the Stainless Steel accent rings, then add an extra set of Brass accent rings....your gonna want both
510 cap comes with your ELA, accent ring is only added when you go larger then a 18350 battery...

You know the kick not working after the mod being torched leads me to a question. Could there of possibly been condensation in the tube? I ask cause I did nothing out of the ordinary with my kicks. Nothing! I used my kicks in a reo grand. The only one thing that could of possibly killed my kick was condensation. I have questioned myself about this since I killed the first one. Being in the south it gets hot down here, I have even noticed condensation in some of my tube mods.

I killed my first kick by putting it in with the battery backwards. The kick got hot and a nice burning smell, and then it wouldn't work. I guess that could be considered reverse battery protection? ;-)
Update: Got a few orders left on orders placed through 28 February and will be printing out and working on (starting tomorrow) through order 15126 which date wise is through March 7. 1st Batch orders are through March 27th fyi.
Yes. If you order polished with brass accents it will look like the pic on the left. The pic on the right is simply in 18350 mode.
At least for the first and second batch pre-order, the accent band on the telescoping tube will be included for optional use with 18490 and longer batteries. Both the telescope tube accent band and the grooved bottom band will come as a matched set in whatever accent metal you choose.

When I first recived my ELA I wasnt to sure how much I liked the gap between the accent ring and the outer body tube...
Not only do I think it looks slick, but I love the feel of it in my hand... When I run it with an 18490 battery/Crown there is about a 3/16 inch gap...The perfect place to grip with your thumb and forefinger, keeps the mod nice and secure while firing the bottom button with the pinky.....

I'm 15146 placed on March 9 to help give people an idea where they might stand. Guess end of week isn't happening for me, after all. Oh well, here's to the next-week club!
