So here's my logic, from 18500 (18490) to 18650, the length grows ~.5". So it wouldn't be "highly illogical" to imagine that another +.5" would be called 18800.
Me want 18800!
Of course the next obstacle would be modifying a charger to accept such magnificent length. I feel capable, but first we need to locate some "18800s".
If they made a larger diameter tube, one could run the 26500, and the 26650. Some mods use them. The MNKE IMR comes in at 3800mAh. I'd like to find someone to make a tube for the ProVari board to fit in. There have been a couple of telescopic versions made, but they were for 18xxx batteries..

Has anyone gutted a ProVari and used the internals for a custom mod?

People have done it.. There was a telescopic made by Kato, but it was limited. Had full instructions on gutting the Vari, and fitting it over. I would have no problem gutting one of mine to place in a 26500 / 26650 (with extension) tube if someone offered a kit. I'm certain plenty of others too.

You mean the holster for my car?? $1.29 + $1.29 = $2.58 hahahaha
I was initially gonna do it out of copper pipe, which would have looked better, and since copper is softer than SS it will never scratch. But I figured since you'll never see it once it's installed, why not make it cheap and ugly.
And a little update. My MBV order came fast..... Don't laugh at my choices, I find favorites in the oddest choices sometimes

And they threw in Green Tea. All are 24mg except for Tobacco. 36mg.
I tried the Blackberry, yuck. Needs to steep. Tried Milk Chocolate.... Not bad and should get better. I ordered all with 3 flavor shots, figuring if I found a flavor I thought Id like to re-order, I can make adjustments from there, either more or less.

Remember you need to use glass! Banana and Root Beer are known tank crankers and with 3x shots they would probably kill clearos, acrylic tank caps and drip tips if you just sat them near each other.

Great Blog! Wouldn't have even thought about the drip tips being affected. Also it has me second guessing whether I should be vaping so much banana.
PMMA appears to be an acrylic polymer as well, so know banana for my KirF.

There is a link at the bottom of the blog that goes to an article about what causes certain ketones to react to polycarbonate and acrylic.
Drip tips were the first thing I noticed was affected. I was confused when they got soft on the bottom.
