Question about using magnets for the button instead of spring -- would the nemesis sized magnets work?

Magnets sit in a recess that is ~9.8mm wide, so I would say no. I think neme magnets are much bigger.

Oh yeah, and I can't believe how small it is! It's just barely taller than my Reo Mini and about the same footprint.

I think I'm gonna have to order a few more of these. Glad I grabbed some extra screws in the co-op.

I dont have any Mechanicals in Alumide, but it typically looks like this:

In bright light, sometimes you can see it sparkle. (But not usually)

no glitters in the black and even a light sealant will reduce them in the alumide

I'm not sure. Alumide only comes in Concrete Grey.

Boiling point of water is 212 so should have good cushion.

Nice. I had seemed to recall 180F as the danger point for folks doing Cerakote baking on Shapeways prints, but that wouldn't be corollary to a safe submersed surrounding temp even if my failing memory is correct.
