Haha! I do have a laptop, but no wi-fi at the moment.... yeah.... it's a drag. Gotta do all my web/ ECF surfing on my smart phone, which also, is not very smart.

So.. were you liking my post? Cause I'm loving it. Thanks for the inspiration on doing the wire mod. It works like a charm.

Anybody have anymore extra parts kits?? PM me! I'll pay whatever you desire.

...nobody probably wants to part with any though...
:/

Angelecig was the place I got them.

On the peko, just get it looking like you want and jump in. I have built around a half dozen and it doesn't take but a few minutes to build them. I start at the switch parts and do the entire top, then build the rest.
Has anyone put out a build video on the peko? I've only seen gdeals YT vids?

Does ANYONE wanna video the build and post it here ? Hint drunk?

This works well. Mine Is set up this way. Be mindful though u may need to stick a spacer under magnet or u will have a crazy hair trigger and chance autofires.

thanks for posting this. is there a picture of this somewhere? what do you mean by a spacer? is it metal? delrin? o-ring?

@Lillie Bennett - would you post a pic of this when you do it?

I just stuck an oring in the button recess under the magnet and it worked beautifully. Not sure on size oring as it came out of a kayfun spares kit I had laying around. I can tell you that with oring in there the magnet is flush with bottom of button recess. I am using the tall button though.

Wow, ordered my V2.1 on Tuesday and got an email from Sculpteo last night that it was printed with a pic... That is pretty dang fast. I would assume a shipping notification would be coming some time today... I'm impressed so far and its not even in hand yet.

edit....and its shipped....:rickroll:

That's pretty awesome. What really blew my mind was having my Peko delivered within 48 hours of being shipped. Crazy.

Well, I started my first Peko build tonight. Had to abort the mission upon discovering the threaded brass rod is too long for the 2.1 internal frame. Typically, this minor detail wouldn't have halted my progress but I'm about 500ml deep in Kentucky's finest libation. Figured it would be prudent to wait until sobriety sets in sometime tomorrow morning before chopping on the brass rod. Peko build to be continued...

I decided to wait since I have some gin in my system lol! I will probably pick up parts for what I need to assemble and paint it tomorrow and finish it by Monday or Tuesday. I may start fiddling with it tonight though. Anyone have an easy paint and clear coat method for indoors? I have heard a couple being passed around, but want something solid for now. Once I have funds for a second shell I may experiment. Anyone messed with acrylic paint as well? I have some left over from an art class last semester, so I was thinking seal, paint, and seal again. Thoughts?

Also, after seeing Katz Deli on Impractical Jokers, I am extremely jealous that yall can eat there whenever!

All the brass rods come a little to long.. just a few millimeters.. I fully assembled mine, left the brass rod and nuts loose, and then cut the bottom. Make sure you have all 4 nuts threaded on th me brass rod before you cut! It will be easier that way so you are filing and fiddling with it to get the nut to thread on. I used the sharp edge on the inside if a pair of pliers, it cuts fast and easy. Tighten your 4 bolts and your ready to vape.

I can't suggest anything beyond the prep I performed because, well, I'm mostly drunk and totally lazy... I just hit my Peko shell with Krylon matte 1311 as per the build doc recommendation. Threw down a light single coat, let it sort of dry, and misted on an even lighter second coat. Damn thing still looks exactly as it did right out of the box, which is a good thing. I'm kind of fond of the raw printed look. So, now it's sealed and the look is straight up unfinished.

I did buy some "aluminum" colored Krylon which I intended to use on the button and ring. However, after shooting some on a piece of cardboard I decided to roll with the au naturale look. I ordered a black print and as Sir Wesley Snipes once pontificated, always bet on black.

As for the indoor part, I was totally cool with spraying the Peko in the storage room in our basement. Apparently, my wife could smell the Krylon before she got home from the grocery store. Probably should have done it in the garage... but, you know, drunk and lazy.

Well, dang... now I need to get all this stuff back out. I only have about an hour's worth of bourbon left.

edit: yeah, it's a little long, lol. Glad I didn't fubar the threading before putting it in. Thanks.
