Pwheeler you may not think you need the body magnets now, but trust me after a few bottle/ battery changes you will want them! It gets loose fast. Not that the print wears down to nothing, it just gets looser fitting eventually... so you definitely should glue those magnets in. Or everytime you pop the atty cap you'll pull the whole inside out. And yes, on both my Pekos I have derringer clones on both. Love the look and hits. Can't wait for my CH authentic!!

I finally got my v1.1 together today! Man, I had a time with it with my big hands and those little itty bitty parts, but I finally made it. I didn't paint it or anything, I just wanted to see how it goes together and see how it works. My internal framework was firm enough I didn't even put the two magnets in there. I used the tall button and the firm spring. Got it all together, used a 9ml Vapage bottle and battery, my Derringer and it hits like a beast! Wow, my Reos have been having problems hitting hard, I think the firing pins might be wearing out, but this thing is amazing! Gotta order my v2.1 prints as soon as I can. I have 2 internal kits reserved for those. Oh, and I had to read and re-read that part about the body magnets, too, so I understand the confusion there.

Nice going there Paul... You should also keep in mind those parts kits along with a couple other parts will put together a 26650 Peko!!! I am waiting on mine right now...

I'll do it, but right now I just wanted it working. I'll also tear it down for paint, too.

well dang wish I could post pics,I appreciate all the help ya'll gave me here.few times I was just to tired to be messin with building anything!i haven't put the last magnet in yet but its cool how it goes together by the 2 mags sticking then the drop of glue on the top magnet and slide it together and leave it for ohhh 10minutes just to be sure its dry im guessing.i already orderd my polished white 18650 or I would have done one of the 26650 peko versions.

now I have to wait to find smore parts kits, does anyone know when or where that may happen?when I do get mine completely finished ill have a guy I know who has a camera take pics so I can post them.this thing is awesome though!may change out the brass rod for wire when I get a soldiering iron.i see a gdna in my future!may sell some reos to finance it but hey that's good with me.regulated squonking....ohhhh yeah.thanks agin to alla ya'll for helpin me through this!.....Rick

Yep, here is the reason the magnets were designed into the release version: (Beta didn't have them originally)

Where can these lugs and extra stuff be bought from if I decide to do a 26650 mod? I have 2 kits and intend on doing 2 18650's, but I might be persuaded to do a 26650 and an 18650.
I can recommend Digikey. They sell in loose quantities and ship first class mail for a few dollars.
