well thanks bud but just tryin to help out.one person id like to apologize to publicly is Moxenator.idk if he will see this but ima put it out here anyways.i had a buncha crap goin on in my life when I had offerd him a pda atty and I sent a crapton of pm sayin id sell it for the price I had quoted but let him know I had more in it then that.i truly know it was a lot to do with a death in my family and the crapstorm my stepson has put us into,none of which is moxenators fault but he giot the brunt of my grouchiness.if I had it to do over I wouldn't have handled myself that way,so hope ya will accept my apology moxenator.there I feel better already.it had been botherin me ever since I'd did him that way.sorry again man...Rick
It is driving me crazy. I'm rather beyond irritated. I think I'm going to be the guinea pig and order my next one from Shapeways. That makes me nervous, too, as I seem to recall some time back that there was a quality issue. If anyone can refresh my memory why everyone stopped ordering from Shapeways.

it is some tuff stuff!13 wraps is crazy tough coil for sure,buildin my first set of duels and forgot to lock the reo and zapppp it wasn't that tuff though!!redo!my 28ga wasn't as resilient as this stuff either.it'd always break when retightening down the screws to it.

It was quality issues that moved everyone to Sculpteo. But I don't blame you, I have little patience for that kind of delay.
Fist off, let me say that I did my sculpteo order with the slow shipping because I saw the post where you did it and it saved some money. With that said, I received mine on Monday (4/6/15). That was 2 GDNA's and 1 Peko, all polished white.
As for Shapeways, I believe that the problem wasn't necessarily the print quality, but the tolerances and sizes that were becoming an issue. People were getting tops and bottoms that didn't match up, and center rings that wouldn't fit because they were too small.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong please.
I really can't complain about the delivery time to the UK. I ordered my 3d prints from sculpteo on the 2nd April and they arrived on the 8th. Hardware kit ordered from live wire mods on the same day and arrived in the UK today
For 30% off I'm happy to wait a while. I like the offering; if I'm not willing to wait a while I'll pay full price.
I got my 2 Pekos from Shape ways with no problems. Everything fit and the print looked good to me. Posted them here a few posts back. The black Dark Knight and my ladys' Pink one. Took 10 days order to delivery.
I hear you Mark, and it's not a longer lead time that has me up in arms. It's the runaround I am getting from them. I'm past time for it to be delivered and it still shows in print, which it has for the last 15 days or so. Others who also used the economy route who placed orders after I did have already received them. I'm just being toyed with and that's what I don't appreciate at all. If they had a problem with my print, I would have accepted that if they told me that they had to do a reprint or something. My patience has just worn a bit thin since I can't seem to get a truthful answer out of Andrew. I love the fact that they offer this discount and was willing to wait, but now, I believe something has gone awry and I can't find out what.

I hear you Paul, I'd feel the same. I just thought it should be added to the record so that it remains an option and others here can get a sense of how it's supposed to go. I think they do a good job from the 6 prints I've seen so far.
Maybe your first print was defective and they sent it to me.
It wasn't polished grey was it?
Email them and ask why mine shipped first when you ordered yours 4 days earlier.
I wonder if they stack orders of the same color and complete them before changing out colors in the printer.

On a side note, I've been using a crystal clear gloss enamel to seal my paint jobs for pekos. 4 coats of the stuff holds up extremely well to daily use/abuse. I've been running my "hammer marked" peko since 1.27.15 and it barely shows on the shell. The wear is mostly on the ring. I ended up painting the button and sealing it with the enamel as well, but that meant I had to sand the inside of the button hole to allow freedom of movement.
Button has 0 wear evident. Used magnets BTW.
Insides were sealed with the 1311. It still gets dirty, but not too bad. The shell inside got some over spray and was sealed with enamel.

Nice Mox! That sounds like a good sealant/ protector also! You know what's awesome? You have been running that since 1/27? That's my birthday! Great day right there! I'm about to buy some minwax poly tomorrow and over seal all four of my Pekos for an real durable barrier! It's minwax poly right guys? Brush on?

With all these comments about Scupteo, I went back and checked my order already received. I didn't get any kind of a discount, paid $6.50 for express shipping via UPS, so not the same as some of you. Order placed 3/17; original shipping estimate 4/7; original delivery estimate 4/9. I was shipped 3/30 with an estimated delivery of 4/2. I actually received it 3/31. No idea when they were printed, processed or packaged because I didn't check the tracking on their site at the time (I was in no hurry to get them).
They still sit as they came. I finally received the Krylon 1311, the Ultra Gel was lost in the mail and today was reshipped to me again by the seller. So in time it will all come together if I don't lose interest in them first.
My rant is Nude Nicotine who after paid 3/31 I still have not received the priority package that they never gave me the tracking number for and supposedly shipped 4/2 (I'm only 300 miles from them, so by 4/4 I should have rec'd), and they are ignoring my emails and voice mails. Worst customer service I have ever seen in the world of vaping. Either a return call/email from them or the package by Saturday or I will file with my CCC to get my money back.
