ROFL!!! My husband is about to be 63... and his is past his shoulders, and he always wears a cowboy hat, too. But people don't stare at him too long... though he looks quite a lot like Willie Nelson, he also has more than a passing resemblance to Charles Manson -- the crazy eyes! I call him Willie Manson.

HA! That's awesome!!! When my husband grew his hair out for Sundance (Native American) it was about down to his shoulders and curly. He always wears a baseball cap because he has NO hair on top, and once when we were out to dinner (maybe 8-9 years ago?) a lady came running up to our table shouting, "You're Randy Johnson, aren't you?!?!?!" It was hilarious! My husband said, "Uh, no, you really don't want to see me throw a baseball..."

Ha! I am actually in Grays Harbor, so I get even less sun than Seattle but when it does shine... :O Actually, I am not complaining at all about the weather these past couple of summers. It has been purty dang nice! Not super excited about the widespread drought, though. I understand it happens because of the snow pack but you would think they could have figured out how to harness all that winter rainfall by now!!

It's funny out here in the desert right next to the salton sea you would think we would smell the fish die off worse than anyone else right? Well in most cases of the rotten eggs smell, it's not coming from the dead fish, it comes from the small tremors and earthquakes. There are sulfur deposits deep underground and when the tectonic plates rub/bump together it disturbs the sulfur, thus the rotten egg smell. I'm not a scientist but it sound plausible to me

its lavender with white cabinetry! somewhere on FB I have a ton of pics I took during my renovation. I also have a deep amethyst wall around my fireplace, and one of the bedrooms upstairs is also purple...kind of a dusty plum.

I have antique dining room set...mahogany chairs with dusty lavender micro suede upholstery. took me forever to find the perfect fabric!!!!
