I would agree for the most part, with the exception of MBV. They were one of the largest advocate suppliers in the state. I wish they would continue to fight rather than take off before the bill is even law. I understand it on a business level mind you, just feel betrayed and like a sacrifice to the new tax or something. It sends a bad signal to me and most Washington folks I would imagine, not that I speak on their behalf. And the message that sent to the government here was basically a green light, go ahead and bend them over we don't care we outty 5000... Sorry, I am upset if I continue obscenities may occur. I can see from your standpoint how you are happy they no longer deal with our local postal system though. Just hits a little closer to home for me i guess.

I can definitely understand feeling like that... but maybe if enough businesses move their business out of state, those idiot lawmakers will get the point! It's just not good for business! And in a state that permits {that other stuff}... it's completely insane!

That is a beautiful dog :) I have a grey and white husky, and they are such a funny breed! Lol
Thanks so much! He's my youngest, have an Isabella White one we affectionately call "The Troll", and we lost our senior black and white one last October. I'd love another, but hubby (thinks) he has put his foot down. LOL...

I bet you're as fond as I am of the book "Eats, Shoots, and Leaves". :D

I LOVE that book! Being a medical transcriptionist by trade, I automatically correct that stuff in my head when I see it but it always gives me a giggle. :)

long hair can cause more problems than I ever realized, being ex military I kept my hair kinda short most of my life. A few years ago I decided to let it grow out, went 3 years without cutting it, to donate to the cancer society, it was a little past halfway down my back when I cut it. I have the utmost respect for women who wear long hair, and dealing with it, don't think I'll ever do that again, even though it was for a good cause, I just can't seem to bring myself to deal with the trouble of keeping up with it, and keeping it nice and healthy, plus at 51 years old people kinda give you some weird looks.

Exactly...sigh...wish everyone wanting a Husky knew this... Lol
My husky gets to free roam in the evening and night. He stays on the property. Now, I cannot trust him around my chickens and duck....so he does not get to free roam during the day :) He does not care too much though, because he would rather be inside in the air conditioning rather than out in the heat :) He is such a good boy! He is very pack oriented, and joins in everything we do. He goes everywhere we go.

ROFL!!! My husband is about to be 63... and his is past his shoulders, and he always wears a cowboy hat, too. :D But people don't stare at him too long... though he looks quite a lot like Willie Nelson, he also has more than a passing resemblance to Charles Manson -- the crazy eyes! I call him Willie Manson. :D

@AndriaD how would I go about adding one of those counters, like you have at the bottom of your posts? ^^ like that?

click on her banner and it should carry you to a page to set yours up

This exactly.. click on the banner and it will take you to the page to make it... then use the provided BBcode, not the HTML, to add it to your signature.

Blizrd the Troll will not run, he's too old, fat, lazy and knows where the food source is. max would probably wander off looking for someone to play with, so he gets playmates every Sunday at a local park with 8-25 other Huskies, just depends on the day.

The only problem with the sig banners is... since they changed the software, the count won't automatically update every day, because of the extreme caching going on -- they *say* the cache is flushed everyday, but I'm not seeing that at all; I have to actually go into my signature and *change* the banner daily, to see the count update. So I switch between the banner and the text box, daily, so I can see the updated numbers.
