:facepalm:Sorry about that Jode. I am afraid my eyesight is about as good as my hands. I do know what you mean about the fisher cat, truly the most eerily creepy sounds ever. I do see the big pileated woodpeckers daily as well as the 3 toed, and a downy woodpecker that after he took quite a hit to 1 of my picture windows, I went out and picked up till he could "snap" out of it! He now thinks it is his job to follow me all over my yard. He does sort of get to close at times though. lol! Some snow & saw whet ( thought they were flying plush toys at first!) owls, and a family of red tailed hawks that help keep the garden snakes under control! Luckily I have not come out and found any bears in my driveway, yet! I do love all the animals here, but truly miss the beach too! Used to rent a house in Hampton every summer. Now its about 2 hours for us at least, so we don't anymore. I don't miss the crowds though!

I'm sweatin my "insert adult word here" off and it's after midnight !

Whenever I see something like this, and especially from someplace as deep in the desert as you are, I always think... no air-conditioner?

They're required, in GA -- without them, not only is it so hot you feel like you're about to die, but you can't breathe, either! It's like trying to breathe jello!

Yeah it's been rough here in the SE for almost a week now.... nevermind mid-June, we seem to have skipped straight to late July. Makes me SOOOOOOOOOO glad I don't have to go out to the porch every half hour anymore! We generally leave ours at 76 also, unless I'm cooking, then it goes to 75 and I turn on the fan that blows in here, blow some cooler air from the living room into the kitchen! :D It doesn't help that my kitchen window faces directly southwest!

Hey I just realized... today is the anniversary of my appendectomy! So glad that thing's gone now!!!!

I had the most wonderful gift from Vapingzone waiting for me in the mail box when I got home from work last night.:mail:

Five 30ml bottles of some awesome smelling juice that I can't wait to try. The juice got a nice warm start in pre-steeping
(it was 108* here today) so they're uncapped just waiting for tomorrow night to try. Thanks so much to ECF and Vapingzone for all you do for the vaping community and this incredibly awesome contest. I feel so blessed to have been lucky enough to be in the top 20 that received this unexpected generous gift.

Y'all ROCK:banana:

Nancy, these pictures are wonderful! You and David have a lot of "crafty talent". You also seem to spread joy wherever you go! I think I spent at least an hour looking at your travels! I hope to one day also be able to see this country and others.

David's napping on the couch after helping with the trash pickup this a.m. early (for the older folks who find it hard to make the trip themselves), and taking it all to the transfer station, then did a bit of 'trimming' of mesquite trees growing too close to the paved streets in our park (part of his HOA board job), so he's entitled to his rest (grin). I'll share your impressions with him when he awakes! I know he'll appreciate your posting. p.s. I made sure what I shared as a url was working late last night, and spent until 3a.m. looking at the pictures myself, reminiscing and loving our retirement! (grin) all happy smiles throughout!

Having lived some 40+ years in So. Calif. along the beach and 20 miles inland, it's very rare anyone has AC, and inland there are 'some' who do, but not many! They go out on their covered porches and try to catch a slight breeze coming from the nearby mtns, but when the AZ heat moves in from the east, it's HOT for a few days, but rarely lasts longer. This summer may be a bit more intense as I don't remember this kind of heat this early...! being dryer, it's more tolerable than with any humidity also added to the mix!! ie, "it's a dry heat!" haha

Hi, y'all!!!! Thanks for all of the kind thoughts! We're riding out some wind and rain, and a tornado watvh...lol...and I was able to take a short nap after the doggies finally settled down (and had a little Benadryl because my old boy was fidgety all night, as he usually is during bad weather). The eye of yhe storm has finally made landfall, and the coast looks awful, but we've been very lucky so far!

Speaking of luck, I'm so very excited, and realized patience DOES pay off! I got a lovely message from Flushdraw to notify me that I have won the Halo package of juice, 20 x 30ml bottles of juice!!! Im totally flabbergasted, and so very thankful to ECF for this contest, to everyone involved, to Halo, and to everyone who was up that crazy wonderful night! Now I need to go pick some juice...lol...which I should have done ahead of time, but didn't because I didn't think I'd win...lol...good luck to everyone who's still waiting!!!!

Ok, have run into an issue with my new vape gear... although it's been working great! I charged it up, just in case it wasn't fully charged upon receiving my iStick 50W box mod... and have been vaping away with it since Saturday (it's still going strong 3 full days and counting!), but just had something happen that I'll call the 2nd time... "no atomizer" shows on my read-out, after I filled my GS H3 tank again... I tried the first time this happened (and ended up changing out the tank) gently lifting the pin in the box mod slightly, also checking the connecting pin in the base of my clear evod tank, no help was seen from this, took out the ego adaptor and didn't see that either end of this could be maneauvered so as to make contact, so now I'm a bit flumuxed as to what next to try... any help? is it my cheap tanks? I hate to tug on the bottom pin of the tanks, for fear of messing with how the coil is stationed in place... hmmmm
perhaps I'll go over into the main forum and look around, see who's online to ask, right after I let my computer re-boot so as to allow the updates to take effect.... grrr timing of that! lol

The iStick 50W has a spring loaded center pin to self adjust. I know in the past we have had some issues with the GS H3 series tanks on several different mods.

Nancy B , I am not sure it will help but on my IPV4 If I reset the resistance it will correct the issue.
