Smokey Joe, no need for apology right now with all the winners and prizes to give out you have a full plate, I understand if no one else does that all you have in front of you can't be done in a few hours. Thanks for having such a great contest, and hopefully not the last one.

Thanks a million for just keeping a wonderful site going, the contests that you do is just a plus and much appreciated.

More congratulations to the next round of winners :)

Here's a story. My hubs and I adopted a little cat from the Oahu humane society. She was 5 months old, russian blue in shape and color, female and had a little white "tucker bib" mark on her throat. We had her for (wait for it) Twenty-Three years. She nearly died in late February, but rallied round for another 5 weeks or so, but then she failed again, quite quickly and we knew the end was coming. While I was holding her, I told her I wished so much we could rewind her and have her all over again. She lifted a paw up to my nose and then died in my arms on April 8th. We were both devastated and could hardly stand it. Anyway, we took her to the emergency center for cremation, and when we returned, I was still bawling and was looking at web sites for pet grief support as it's a special kind of comfort in a way. For some unknown reason the web site for the Hawaii Humane Society came up, (different island) and for some God-known reason I clicked on cats - and there was a picture of a little grey cat who looked just like ours. I figured that it was waaaaay too soon to even think of such a thing, and anyway being a non-profit, chances are the website hadn't been updated lately and the kitty was probably adopted by now. Next morning I was doing my best to get myself ready for work, and my hubs was on the web. Just for information sake, for the future, when we ready, he was googling russian blue breeders. New York came up and California ......and a little grey cat at ......the Hawaiian Humane Society! So we both were looking at different things and landed on the same picture. He bounced into the bathroom and said "That's Chiffy!!" He said "I've got to call about this" and so he did. And! the little cat was still available, they would be happy to ship her to us - but let me send you some more pictures. ...We got the pictures and found out ....she was 5 months old, she had been at the shelter for 5 weeks, was a female, russian blue in shape and colour - and had a little white "tucker bib" mark on her throat. So we became proud mom n pop to GD (short for granddaughter).

Some things are too bizarre to explain. I like to think that Chiffy had a word with someone on her way in to the fields by the Rainbow Bridge :)

Lovely story Hulamoon - I've got a real soft spot for Russian Blues having had one years ago .... and I'm convinced cats "know" things :)
