While not my personal style (I'm old), I rather like moderate doses of heavy metal guitarists although many play similarly (using the same scales). Jeff Loomis was getting some nice chunky low notes on that video. I noticed he's using a seven-string guitar - that's where the extra low 'chunk is coming from.

If your nephew likes shredding style guitar (and particularly if he plays at all), you might suggest Paul Gilbert. A self-effacing character who has many lesson videos on YouTube. Another player worth a listen is Vinnie Moore who taught Joe Satriani.

vape on, y'all!
Thank you he needs all the help he can get! I know he tries but he doesn't practice enough! I think he is in it for the ladies!
And I did listen to Vinnie Moore HUGE Talent!

Congrats to you for 9 days!! I look back and can remember still thinking whether this vaping will do the trick or not getting off the stinkies - and now, 2 yrs later, it's really phenominal how it has and I'm still celebrating conquering that beast!!

Don't forget to spend some time on ECF sharing how things are going and issues you may run up upon! This group is awesome in the help they can provide, the experience, and the knowledge and just plain really caring how it goes for you, too! I'll be eternally grateful for the folks here and the help they've provided me! hugs to you, NancyB

Congratulations on 2 years!
Sorry, when I won a runners up spot on the 2nd list, the Wizard Labs gift was not on my list to look at and choose from... I wouldn't know what to do with that much 'base' tho for myself... I'd just have to give it away to others in thanks (grin).
There were still over 60 donations to choose from, in all different categories too - some for newbies, some for old timers, some for DIYers and some for folks to try out new blends.... like I said quite an array to be able to look at and choose from!! fyi note: I only picked 6 of 10 that I was allowed (in the end ONE gift of what's left I get....) wanted some good ones left for others on the next list.
Now I'm trying to catch up on my reading to see if they've come out with the 3rd list of runners up... (don't tell me, I wanna read through everything first, k?) I'm retired and have the time and look forward to the surprise!! xoxox NB

reading Pg 56.... pg 79 is the last one at this time - hmmm might take me a day or two (grin)....

I do the same! It takes me hours some days to get caught up but I never read ahead!

I just found out what I will get for the contest. I will be getting a GG4S. I can't wait, I have always wanted a mod so this will be a experience. Thanks for the supplier for having it as a prize and thank you ECF for having the contest.

Cool. :)

I'm still waiting to find out what I've won ... the suspense is doing me in. :D

I commented on evod tanks...I'm passing on one of my starter kanger evods to a friend of mine who wants to quit smoking. I'd love to have a few extra tanks to help her ( and if she doesn't want them, I can always use on mine as spares).
I have got a ton of those Evod tanks some coils too if your still in need!

if you want to see some amazing guitar work look on you-tube for Michael Angelo Batio to me he has a wonderful gift for playing especially at his age, he is in his mid to late 50's and has won several awards for being the fastest guitarist there is.
Also amazing! I watched his double guitar solo, He obviously likes Deep Purple & Ozzie!

Imeo's stuff is all top shelf. Enjoy it in good health! :thumb:

I just filled out my form now ...
Woot to ya! I hope you enjoy what you get!

Winners, you should try to fill out your forms promptly. The folks in line behind you are waiting on you to get your picks in. And I'd imagine that SJ and flushdraw are less likely to post the next set of winners until they get the picks in from the current round.

Thank you.

I have been reading up on it in the forum. I think all you do to increase the power is make a lower ohm coil. I build my rdas anyway so no problem there. But what is a kick? Lol

Kicks regulate the voltage/wattage of your mech mod ;)
enjoy!

Thank you Mizzegirl !! Mine are all gone now, so I'll share that you have some if anyone else looks at my pics in my re-home album on my profile (grin). I have other things still, tho. I think this sharing is as much fun as the contest! te he I hope things become easier for you.

Got done with Mizzegirl's reply and checked my Inbox, and there I found this!

"You have won the VapingZone: 1 x Eleaf iStick 50watt (winner’s choice of in stock color) + iTaste MVP Camo Kits with IClear30S Tank

I have contacted the supplier with your details and they should be in touch shortly."

WOOOOOHOOOOO! I got my first choice item, the iStick to try out! AND on top of that the iTaste MVP kit with tank - tis definitely a top notch day for me! I may lay aside my ego twist bats for one of these as my new ADV (all day vape)... oh, boy am I happy!!

Thanks again for all the work this have caused with the leadership, suppliers, and the endless wait by members of ECF! It's all so much appreciated!!! and been FUN!!!
and... I see more folks saying they're received their notifications, so I gotta hurry up and catch up in my reading the posts, hmm pg 62 to pg 81 at this point (grin). HAHAHA

I hope everyone gets what they wanted.

So the kick "kicks up the voltage". I guess if lowering the ohms isn't enough that should get you where you need to be. I am going to have to do some homework.

with a mechanical mod you are relying strictly on your battery's power (charge) and as the power (charge) decreases so does your voltage ;) even if you lower the ohms in your atty you will still get that fluctuation as the battery drains.
a kick will keep the voltage steadier, at least up to a certain point

I sure hope there is a round 3. I've probably lost 5 pounds doing the 'happy dance' just being so happy and excited for ECF and for all the winners. 5 more pounds to go and another round of winners should do it !! So you see, it's medically necessary we have a round 3 (hehehe)

I just love reading these fun posts! I'm hanging in there with you for a 3rd round (tho I just got notified of my first choice win and am ecstatic over it!!) Keep on with the good attitude and you'll be rewarded... now back to reading and catching up to see who's on that 3rd list of runners up!!
