Oh that would be great to have a chance to get a tank. I know what you mean medically. I had hip replaced in 2010. Not only did the Cleveland Clinic surgeon give me a leg that is longer than the other, it messed my back up so I can't walk very far without coming to tears, I gained 60 pounds, now am diabetic ( insulin 5 times a day), nueopothy (sp), in feet and hands, now depression, PTS. The worse part it he just washed his hands of me, and Social Security is fighting me cause I'm 48 years old. Even though I worked my whole life paying into it and now they tell me to **** off. Sorry, just makes me so mad sometimes. Need a break!!! Had to vent.... Lol almost forgot, I have a spinal cord Stimulator in my back and it's battery in my .... cheek. Lol
sometimes it seems when we are wandering thru life it just plain sucks -hoping things turn around for you :)

I'm not sure if

I'm confused, I thought that was three different prizes, or does that count as one? The list didn't make it very clear.
If you go to your notification email, and click on the prize list link, it'll list what's now available that you get to pick from... (hint - I too went searching through the original prize list and the sites to learn about each prize before finding the list that's available now... perhaps new knowledge, but some wasted time thrown in too) so don't feel bad, we're all learning every day so many new things... it's here of ECF that learning is easier cuz of all the nice folks on this forum!! keep the faith, ask questions, then share the wealth as you have extras... round it all goes again!

Sheesh, what a terrible horrible experience for you. I've always been very very leery about back surgery or any hip/knee surgery as I hear so many awful results, I am so sorry for you and the others going through this, and hope that you find some sort of holistic or other approach that will help you. Did you have an indoor and an outdoor shoe built up to help btw? That might be something that can help you?

OMG that is just scary. Why so many? I only ask cause on Monday I was told they want to do surgery on my back. BUT the cant guarantee that it will fix it. I hear you on not being able to work. I was a workaholic and it sent me in a tail spin. Not knowing what to do with myself and all.
the first micro surgery didn't take so They had to go back in to reshape the disc and bone, the next one is a trial for a spinal cord stimulator (implanted TENS unit), which is intended to mask the pain going down my legs. I myself was a bit of a workaholic as well, I was accustomed to 70 and 80 hour weeks, atm I can't work so its been tough... they make no guarantees..

And SJ didn't really explain my discrepancy. He says the 15millionth post and runner ups are being taken from the prize thread and the rest of the forum. I was wondering what the 900,000 post difference was about since as you can see I found what the site code is at least calling the 15millionth on January 10, 2015. My guess again is that it's due to deleted comments or maybe something else besides posts in threads adds to that count as well. Either way congrats to the winners, I'm just bored and nerding it up..

He did explain it, just not in that post. The displayed post count does not include deleted posts, or posts from certain sub forums like the sandbox, I think the Lounge/Outside, etc. so the winner of the 15Mth post is not the 15M post that was ever entered in the database.

Just wanted to say I will think good thoughts for you. I've been actively trying to avoid surgery for a few years now. I'm mostly under control with medication, TENS never did much for me, steroid injection did nothing.

I fear I may have made a mistake you guys. I was one of the very lucky and very fortunate runner-ups that got to choose a prize. I tried to do as much research as I could do in the limited time I had that afternoon before picking my top 10 and I'm worried I may have chosen a prize that is way beyond my comfort and knowledge level. All of my instincts told me to choose the Cool Fire IV and MVP 2.0 camo kit, but all of those shiny beautiful mechanical mods tempted me. I ended up winning the Esterigon by GG, and for that I am extremely grateful! However after looking into it a bit, I am absolutely overwhelmed and really can't even afford all of the batteries, charger, ohm reader, supplies etc. I had a very hard time affording my little MVP 2 and Nautilus Mini and finding a way to fit that into my weekly budget. I PM'd a couple mods, but I fear I'm going to have something that I am too afraid to even touch, let alone afford the thing to even get it going.

Sorry I just had to vent what was going on in my mind. Although I am extremely happy to have won anything at all, I just worry I may have made a mistake choosing something way beyond what I'm capable of safely using, and for that I am sad. Hopefully if no one picked the Coolfire IV they will allow me to swap out prizes, I'm not holding my breath though. I always do stupid things like this. :(

It's oddly comforting that I wasn't the only crazy west coaster up all night.
I couldn't last past 2:30am :thumb:

That is a beautiful mod, maybe one of the other winners will be willing to trade with you, if they got a mod that you'd be comfortable with. Worst case scenario you could get verified and post it on the classifieds. I considered that if I had gotten something I didn't necessarily want to keep. Some might think it would be "wrong" but that way the mod would go to someone who could really utilize it and you could get gear that is more in your comfort zone.

Only question I have left is - Have all the winners been selected or will there be another group?

I sure hope there is a round 3. I've probably lost 5 pounds doing the 'happy dance' just being so happy and excited for ECF and for all the winners. 5 more pounds to go and another round of winners should do it !! So you see, it's medically necessary we have a round 3 (hehehe)

Thanks for the reply. I just figured I would be completely honest and say I am in over my head. Although I could easily learn how to use the device I'm sure, right now my main priority is just staying off of cigarettes, and a big part of that is having something easy to use. Today will be day 7!
