AND - I will also mention that although I am still a duel user (Smoking cigarettes/vaping usually 70/30) not only have I noticed, but "My" Doctors (PCP & Pulmonologist) have too - A HUGE DIfference in "My" ability to breath and overall health health since I started vaping . . .

Now what works for "ME" is not what might work for "YOU" . . . SO - It is very important to continue to do "Your" research and check with your doctors about what is right for "YOU" . . . GOOD LUCK ! ! !

(BTW: NO, IT IS NOT AS EASY AS SOME CONTINUALLY PROFESS & ARGUE with their Holier-than-tho attitudes about quitting in one day - Smoking cigarettes/tobacco is not just a habit, but a real addiction that some people have a much harder time breaking away from . . . Just Sayin' . . .)

I was diagnosed with COPD this spring, after I had already been moving away from ciggs. Talked with my doctor about vaping and she encouraged it. I was amazed at my last doctors appointment-she was surprised by the improvement to my overall heath and lung function. I really feel like though it may not be for everyone its certainly worth talking about and Sharing how it has improved so many peoples overall health!

BRAVO - IMO - As someone who has suffered through the years with major Allergies & Asthma as a child into adulthood and who was also diagnosed back in 2000 with Emphysema & COPD caused by chronic bouts of bronchitis (which use to happened at least 2 - 3 x's a year) . . . This is the most responsible and best response given to this discussion . . .

I quit "cigarettes" in one day, but acknowledge I still have a nic addiction. I try not to act "holier-than-thou"....I know this is a process, but it's the only way that's worked after a 36 year, PAD+ history of smoking.

I find it very interesting that a lot of us here are what you would call ex heavy smokers. Granted when I quit, I was down to about 3/4 of a pack a day average. At my highest I was using a pack a day. I found that switching to vaping satisfied my nic craving and also satisfied the hand to mouth syndrome that comes with smoking.

I immediately rinsed out my two sub tanks, rewicked the Clapton on my stm rba, swapped occ's in my full size sub tank and tried two of the three flavors...Belgian cocoa and Malibu.
I'm impressed with the cocoa, I've had so so luck with chocolate flavors...I had my roommate try it, told him it was a chocolate flavor.... He said "it tastes more like cocoa" so spot on with that one Halo, props to ya!
The Malibu....all I can say is it tastes like the beach! I find it quite good, my roommate didn't like that one, said it reminded him of sun tan lotion..... Probably the coconut. It does taste of how sun tan lotion smells, but of you have ever accidentally tasted the lotion, you will know that it doesn't taste as good as it smells.... This does :p
Sent with one hand, the other is busy vaping.

Nice Halo order! Looks like something you'll be enjoying for a while!

I went to zero nic after almost 3 years. Turns out my "addiction" is behavioral......i just like to puff on something, have the hand-to-mouth ritual, etc.

(and sometimes, foot in mouth, if you've read some of my posts here over time :p)

I did need 16mg when I started though, and VERY SLOWLY went down. Most of end of last year I was finally doing 3mg, then this spring I decided just to mix my DIY with flavoring and pg/vg base. And it was fine, so I guess I don't really need the nic. Stilll keep some 3mg around

I don't know if same for everyone, but at this late stage in the game, for me, I reallly don't even need much flavoring either. I can pretty much vape anything, and can even take 12mg and cut down to 2mg and barely any flavor and I'm happy.

23 months ago I started vaping at 18mg. One month later I dropped to 12 mg. One month after that I dropped to 6 mg. And that's where I'm staying.
I tried dropping to 3 mg a couple of times, but found it really affected the flavor of the juice. So I'm staying at 6 for the flavor, not any nic kick.

I've decided after reading up on nicotine, that there isn't much reason for me to drop lower then the 6mg I'm at, the bad is minimal, and it comes with a package of good :p

I aggree 100%. Nicotine is as bad as caffeine. It might even be less harmful than caffeine. I vape 16 and 18mg of nico in my 2 liquids and have no thought of reducing them.

I started vaping with 18 mg and after 3 years with sub-ohming I went to 3 mg ,one day I will try and go for zero mg .When I try 6 mg now it is way to heavy

I am trying this as well, but not because I think I need to drop the nicotine. More to see if I can do it and maintain it. I started at 12mg 10 months ago and am down to 3mg. I am going to decide which of my daily lineup I vape on mostly and get it in 0mg and see if I notice the difference or if I am vaping more. IDK if I really have a point to doing this but it is a self challenge I guess.

I can only speak for myself but when I am vaping 18mg or 3mg ,I will vape all day long ,it makes no difference.
When I can vape two days at 2mg I know I will be happy with that all the time, the first day I notice a lot and it is a challenge to keep it that way but the third day it is ok for me,that is how it works for me .I do not like more than 3mg at this moment.
In my country it is not legal to vape with nic so that for me is also a thing to think about.
0mg would be really hard for me,I will not try that at this moment.

I was the same way.I started vaping on a friday evening, all night friday, and then all weekend,my little ego never left my hand, and i went through about 25ml of juice haha.It was a rough time those first few days, but i was determined i was not going to smoke another cigarette,so i hit that ego so much i'm surprised it didn't quit working after those first few days of working the crap out of it haha.
