I am glad you have had better luck with your buzz. The fact is that I am not the only person posting this type of problem. Apperantly someone has aknowledged the problem since they are going to seal the pcb.
My complaint is that I used the buzz exactly as I use all my other mods. When the buzz failed after very little use I returned it fo RMA and got it back in the same condition (full of juice, switch mal-function).

I don't know. I just never had that problem from dripping when I did it but the new Buzz Pro is sealed inside so that isn't a problem. Mike left the pro soaking in a glass of juice for over 24Hr. and the sealer kept it working fine.
Just know if you want help you will get it here and notcig has customer service second to none but they're not miracle workers. But if you come here to sling dirt you will be responded too in like manner. The first post you made wasn't called for.
By you own admission

you knew the PCB was sealed and you still was worried about your sloppy dripping habits.

If you re-read posting you will see that Bovinia posted about pcb coating after my first posting. Heck if they fixed the thing today Id be happy. I already purchased a closed center 510 extention and atty shield to prevent future problems. I am still waiting for reply that they said would be comming on the 11th of this month

Ya they fixed it. They started coating the PCB with sealer from moisture. I am using a beta Buzz right now because I loaned my Buzz out. I miss it too. The Buzz pro is a lot nicer. It has the adjuster so no screwdriver needed. I didn't like the screwdriver part. I was getting 18 to 21 hrs on a set of batteries. The times will vary for heavy vapers and for LR if people still figure they want LR. I can't figure that one. If you talk to Mike when he gets back I'm sure he will seal that Buzz PCB for you like the new ones.

He's only been gone since thur. Their customer service is the best. I never heard of any other vendor honoring a warranty on a used buzz bought off the classifieds. But hey you just keep kicking dirt, I'm sure that will speed things up.

I am not trying to kick up dirt and I did not buy it off the classifieds. Im just trying to make the dang thing work. I just removed it from alcohol bath and letting it dry for 24 hours. I was afraid to do that but since that is what everyone else is doing it must be ok. Im just not used to screwing with things unless the manufacture makes those recommendations. maybe that will fix it

I am going to try the (soaking method) but not hopeful. It shorted and got so hot it melted plastic off the batteries. yes I am a sloppy dripper but no mention was made from manufacture that the atty connector was not sealed. I had no idea that checking the screw inside is vital. read another post to super glue it stops it from loosening but that was after mine shorted.

IF that happened it is a DEAD SHORT !!! DO NOT RUN IT !!!!!! that is caused by either a dead short across the batteries OR bad batteries !! . Email Me directly at sales@notcigs.com BEFORE you do anything !!!!

I will take care of this and we keep RMA info on file so I will know exactly what we did last time so I can figure out WTH is going on,
We have over 1,000 units in the field this is NOT a common problem trust me !!!
