Well, I tried hot glue, thinking it would be easier to pop off. Problem was the hot glue wouldn't give me a small enough bead to get the ring smooshed all the way down. DS tape sounds like a possibility. I also considered rubber cement, but I didn't have any that wasn't dried out.

I don't think I'll ever sell my provari, but I am concerned about damaging it. Hopefully just a tiny bit of acetone squirted under the ring would be enough to get the ring off. Then the residue could be carefully cleaned off with a q-tip. ??? Hopefully...

Don't know if these have been already posted... $12.00 rings:

Provari Ring-Pro Beauty Ring – abcvaping

Thanks for that heads up.

Tried checking out but failed since the vendor doesn't ship to Canada. But hey, for $12 shipped it's a deal for sure. And it got to be legit since we can use Paypal for completing the process - without logging on to the site. I didn't have to sign up with ABC -- the check out took me directly to my Paypal A/c.

I saw that earlier - anyone HAVE these? Anyone have anything from ABCVaping?
I mean, it's just a $12 risk, lol - but I don't NEED another ring...yet...and I'm curious if these are well finished; if they're tall or short; if they're another known ring not being named (most of the products on that site look familiar).

I don't have the ring but I did order a kayfun short conversion kit. I was a little worried since I had never heard of them and their website is a little "sparse" with info about them. But I'll tell you what, the transaction was one of the easiest ever, they accept paypal, I got a shipping notice the same day as ordering, and most importantly, the item I ordered was exactly as described, fit and function were perfect. So would I order again from them? ABSOLUTELY!!!

Sotong rings

Took 10 days to ship from Singapore to Hawaii. Packaged nicely

Sotong Polished on the Left. Loki Polished on the right.

Overall first impressions are that the Sotong ring fits well. Which also means it will cut off airflow like other rings that fit well. Maybe why he offers the version with the airflow cuts in it. The Loki version is polished to better shine.

I ordered the abcvaping ring. Also found that the makers of the Squape makes a ProVari ring, the StattQualm SQuape Provari ring. Still looking for one to order.

I noticed the Squape ring and have notification set too.
Looks like a "rougher" finish, but that might still work for some looks.
VapeRev answered a question about a week ago, saying they've got pending orders with both svoemesto and Squape, so those rings should show up...well...soon-ish.

I did the same thing - actually, I ordered one like MINUTES before Dusty's post about the slotted option...
But I've got tanks with air channels, and I can always get another one from Sotong it I decide I need both.

How is everyone keeping their pro rings from rattling actually? At least for those at are just a simple ring that slots over and sits flush with the top of the provari. I can't be the only one whose atty (kfl, r91, IBTanked) doesn't sit flush with the provari to begin with.... Or am I :O

I could not squeeze a hair between how flush my 3 KFL's sit on my Provari's..

No rattle here!

I've heard two sided sticky tape mentioned.

Haha I believe that was me. I haven't had a chance to pick up some though.

Strange. None of my 2 authentic kfl+ sits flush with my provari. Even for my 2 R91, I really gotta screw in the 510 connection as far in as possible for it to sit kiiiiinda flush. Definitely enough to stuff some hair through :p

I've one more R91 coming in on thurs. Hoping that's gonna be flush somehow. Speaking of which, the R91 is by far the best looking atty for a stainless satin provari. It's ALMOST the same shade. Good enough to make me consider trading away all my kfl for r91s. Rubs hands in glee.

Once I adjusted the center pin in the Hippo V2, it played nicely with my Mini Provari. A tad heavy but nicely built. With my SnP, it makes it a bit top heavy. I really like the IBT ring that I received yesterday. Haven't tried other tanks but it works and look beautiful with my IBT standard. Quite pleased.
